LISSAAP demand SIT investigation in appointment of three Junior Library posts of Education department

Alleging, Department of Education has played a nepotism and biasness during the recruitment of three Junior Library posts, the Library and Information Science Students’ Association of Arunachal Pradesh (LISSAAPJ has demand concern department and authority to immediately entrust Special Investigation Team (SIT) for investigation

Addressing the media person here at Arunachal Press Club (APC), Aspirant and victim of illegal appointment, Lobom Lida, informed that through RTI, he has obtained the answer sheets of all the selected candidates along with his mark sheet. However, it was very much surprised and disheartened to see that the marks of the person who got selected in third position is only 0.1 more than his marks.

“After gone through my own mark sheet it was also learnt, I was not awarded any marks for my correct answer in which clearly shows the department’s intention while evaluating,” said Lida adding that question no. 1 of general paper is the evidence where he was not awarded mark for correct answer but other candidate were awarded for same answer.

“I am not claiming, I was not awarded any marks in subjective paper but if my answer in objective paper is correct then I do have the right to claim for my rights, “added Lida

Disclosing that on being representation submitted to the chief secretary of the state, on 10/07/2017 the Education Department constituted an eight members committee in the Directorate of Secondary Education under the Chairmanship of Moto Nyori, Director (SCERT) and the committee unanimously pronounced Lida’s claim to be genuine. And further along with the committee report, Department of Secondary Education has process the file and forwarded concerned higher authorities for appointment from three existing vacancy and other necessary action.

LISSAAP further alleged concern education minister when approached assured for favourable action and assurance remain without action for last two weeks and delaying the same appointment intentionally which is questionable.

Stating that they don’t have confidence upon the education department on recruitment process, LISSAAP, further demand state government to handover the case to the SIT to investigate entire process of  recent TGT and PGT appointment so that action stern action could be initiate against officer involved and engaged in violating High court’s order can be punish.

Later on they also informed, earlier advertisement with its No. ED.2/DSE/290/APT/2015 dated 10/09/2015 for filling one post of Junior Librarian in the Department of Secondary Education was published and subsequently revised with the Advertisement NO.ED.2/DSE/260/APT/2016 for filling of three posts was advertised.
