Licha Thosum wins  ‘Best National Costume Award’

Licha has won the ‘Best National Costume Award’ and once again made the Northeast proud. The event was arranged in Mumbai on Tuesday.  She wins this award during the ongoing FBB Femina Miss India 2017 competition held in Mumbai on Tuesday evening.

In total, the 30 state winners of the pageant came together for the grand sub-contests’ crowning ceremony.Licha Thosum wins ‘Best National Costume Award’

Licha Thosum was so very well dressed that it attracted everyone’s attention and won their hearts with her beauty.

Licha  is the first girl from Arunachal to represent the state at this coveted beauty pageant and she believes that ‘winning this beauty pageant will give her an opportunity to inspire the young girls of the region’.

The costume for Licha was created by ace designer from Arunachal Pradesh, Nabam Akaa. Her dress depicts the rich and colorful culture and tradition of Arunachal Pradesh.

Designer Akaa is a versatile and creative designer who has also showcased her collection at the “London Fashion Week” in 2015.

Right now, Miss Tripura Rinky Chakma and Miss Assam Triveni Barman have respectively won the Miss Congeniality, Olivia Miss Beautiful Skin sub-titles.

Mizoram beauty Rody H Vanlalhriatpuii has achieved victory by winning the sub-titles which are Miss Talented and Miss Popular.

The Grand Finale of FBB Femina Miss India 2017 will be held on June 25.
