A pre-PLP (Pre-potential linked Credit Plan) 2018-19 meeting cum workshop on GoAP Flagship programs viz : Deen Dayal Upadhayay Sevavalamban Yojana, Deen Dayal Upadhayay Bunkar Yojana, CM’s Krishi Rinu Yojana, District Innovation & Challenge Fund, CM’s Adarsh Gram Yojana, Ujala Yojana etc was conducted at Lt. Kamlesh Joshi Conference Hall here in DC’s office, Khonsa with administrative officers, Line departments and Branch Manager of various banks operating in the district with District Development Manager, NABARD.
Kamal Roy DDM, NABARD categorically briefed the operative mechanism evolved to give self employment to the un-employed youths by the central government and the state through these flagship programmes by power point presentations. These programme are a part of “Stand up India” and “Start up India” initiative launched by the BJP Government at the centre under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Speaking on the occasion Techu Aran, Deputy Commissioner, Tirap vehemently appealed all the line departments to work out modalities to facilitate the beneficiaries by helping them out in preparing DPR and other pre-requisite documents required to avail the benefits of these flagship programme. The DC further emphasised that the genuine and aspiring entrepreneurs and poor beneficiaries should not be cornered out due to official constraints and silly excuses of which would be a bottleneck in implementation of these programmes, adding that the maximum benefit must percolate to the lowest strata of the communities in Tirap be re-iterated and sought suggestions to conceptualized modalities to be finalised for selection of the beneficiaries.
The programme was attended by all the line departments viz ; DD(Horticulture), DD(Agriculture), DDI, District Fishery Dev. Officer, District Veterinary Officer, Manager Apex Bank, Lead Bank Manager, SBI, Project Manager (NERCORMP) and other HoDs of the District.
