The department of Tax & Excise, Tirap District conducted one day training on GST at Circuit House Conference hall on Monday, amidst huge participants of DDOs, Accountants from various department and other technical staffs from the district.

Addressing the huge gathering Smti Monica Lowang, superintendent, Tax & Excise, Tirap District highlighted in length about implementation of GST w.e.f. 1st July, 2017 and the role of DDOs under GST. She briefed the DDOs at length through power point about the process of registration under GST, deduction of tax at source and filing of returns.

In his message Tirap Deputy Commissioner Techu Aran urged all DDOs of Tirap District to follow the provision of TDS (Tax Deduction at Source) under GST in true spirit.

The meeting was attended by SP Tirap Jitendra Kumar Meena, EAC Hakresha Kri, DFO Shri Bitem Darang, EE(Power) Er. T. Jerang, DDI Pongrem Arangham, LRSO Hibu Doley, DPO L.R. Roy, BDO Borduria Lim Mod, Smti P. Wangcha, BDO Deomali and other DDOs along with their Accountants.
