Khandu inaugurates weavers’ emporium at Ziro

Chief Minister Pema Khandu inaugurated the office cum emporium of the Arunachal Pradesh State Weavers Co-operative Federation Ltd here today.
The Chief Minister was accompanied by PHED Minister Takam Pario, Transport Parliamentary Secretary Likha Saaya, Raga MLA Tamar Murtem, Ziro MLA Tage Taki, DC Kemo Lollen and SP Ziro Tage Habung.
The Co-operative federation has members from all over the state, informed the federation officials. The emporium has collections of textile weaves of all the tribes in Arunachal and provides source of income and employment for the weavers.
The Chief Minister appreciated the good work carried on by the weavers’ federation that provides opportunity for self-employment. He also advised them to set a good example for self-sustenance so that people from rest of Arunachal can learn from then on self-employment.
