Khandu appeal the law makers not to interfere in transfer posting of teachers

Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu today appeal the law makers and political leaders not to interfere in transfer and posting of teachers.

Khandu while addressing on the occasion of the International Yoga Day (IYD) said that from tomorrow we need to practice regular of yoga will help from the stress. We have been imitating from the grassroots level and the state cabinet is going to bring a resolution to appoint Yoga teacher in every Schools of state.

A separate Directorate of AYUSH is being established shortly and for which the proposal have already been sent tot he government.

Our government is very serious toward education sector. The resolution passed in the last Assembly Session at Naharlagun and the government have taken a decision for rationalisation of transfer and posting of teachers is being initiated shortly. The Education department have been doing its exercise and transfer of two thousand teachers will be done and hope that teachers at all schools of state may be available. It may not be sufficient even though we are planning to appoint more that one thousand additional teachers and the working SSA teacher may also get opportunity in phase manner subject to fulfilment of eligibility criteria of the department.

Khandu further appeal all the political leaders, bureaucrats not to come for retention of teachers as it will be affect the educational scenario of state. He said that all hard decision is needed for the development of education sector of state and sought cooperation from all.
