Arunachal governor JP Rajkhowa has complained to the Union-home-ministry against the state government. According to a senior leader of Arunachal BJP the governor in his report has detailed the constitutional crisis in Arunachal, the ongoing dissident activity in the ruling and the incident of heated argument between the governor and couple of ministers. He has mentioned about threats he has received.”
The Union home ministry’s officials said the report given by the governor will be submitted to the President. The governor had received an unprecedented admonishment from the Gauhati high court on Thursday for advancing the state assembly session on his own.
Rajkhowa has also decided to appeal against the single-bench ruling which passed sever strictures against him, while keeping in abeyance the impugned decisions of the ‘assembly’ convened by rebel MLAs in a makeshift venue. He told media persons on Friday that there was constitutional crisis in Arunachal. “There is law and order problem, there is jungle raj in the state, there is no control.” The governor said he did not belong to any political party.” I have written against some ministers engaged in corruption.
There is a misinformation campaign against me. Six ministers led by the home minister of the state protested against me outside Raj Bhavan on Thursday. I was threatened.” A single bench of Justice Hrishikesh Roy had said the governor’s decision to advance the assembly session on the demand of Opposition MLAs was tainted and “unworthy of the state’s constitutional head.
