Parliamentary Secretary PWD, UD etc and Itanagar local MLA Techi Kaso donated a power Transformer of 250 KVA for Papu-I Village here today at a simple function.
Addressing the gathering of local villagers Kaso said that the proposal for installation of power transformer in Papu-I and other area is already done but here it delayed due to some reason, but today it have been installed.
While appealing the proper utilisation of the asset Kaso said that all development will takes place in phase manner but one have to have faith in leadership and government. He also appeal the locals to shoulder responsibility as the capital complex belongs to all and all contribution and support is needed for all round development.
Referring to the memorandum submitted by the locals which include widening of Papu-I and II road, Providing of drinking water supply system, election of high mass light, installation of 4 G network facility, flood control work along Pachin and Papu river Kaso assured to take up with proposal in phase manner.
Youth leader Nabam Akin while said that it was necessary to have a transformer separately for the village for uninterested power supply and for which we have collected self contribution and have procured all required materials and for the purpose of the connection and installation in the village, so far more than 250 residents will be benefitted from this transformer and thanks the local MLA for his contribution of the 250 KVA transformer for the village
Chairman Medicinal Plant Board B C Tok, Senior leader T. C. Tok, Aka Tok, Tok Bottum, youth leader Nabam Akin Hina, former PRI Leader Tok Simon among other also address the gathering.
Naharlagun Electrical Division Executive Engineer Ajay Murtem among other officers of the area were present on the occasion.
