Itanagar: Maintain own tradition and Culture – Kaso

The wancho people residing in capital complex celebrated their agricultural festival, Oriah” in befitting manner here today at Sinki Park , Itanagar.

Itanagar MLA Techi Kaso appreciated the Wancho community for maintain their own tradition and culture. Addressing the “Oriah” celebration at Capital complex Kaso said Arunachal Pradesh have many festival and maximum of them has in related to bumper harvest of agriculture. Every festival have a meaning  and pray god and goddess for the bumper harvesting, peace and prosperity of the all living being.

Not only that, Every tribe has their own Tradition, dialogues and attire , through which any one can identify the tribe or community.

Kaso advice all the community to maintain own tradition and dialogues to protect the identities of a community. Specially youths of the community should come forward to protect their own tradition and culture. Further he also invite the Wancho community to join the Nyokum Yullo celebration with Nyishi Community.

Capital complex Deputy commissioner Prince Dhawan attending as guest of honour, appreciated  wancho community for their hardworking. Appreciating the colourful traditional attire,  Dhawan said it is  not so easy to make  this beautiful traditional attire. He advice keep to maintain own tradition. Further he also wishes the wancho community for peace and happiness and communal harmony.

On the occasion most famous Wancho warrior act , bamboo dance presented by Wancho youths which mesmerised the huge gathering.

Capital complex Oriah festival celebration committee General Secretary Wangpon, capital DTO Chakpa Wangso among others  dignitaries were present on the occasion.
