Itanagar: Entry of heavy vehicles banned in capital complex during day time
In a bid to reduce traffic jam, the capital police have framed a new rule by restricting entry of heavy vehicles in to capital complex during day time.

In a bid to reduce traffic jam, the capital police have framed a new rule by restricting entry of heavy vehicles in to capital complex during day time, informed Capital SP M Harsha Vardhan.
The heavy vehicles will not be allowed to enter the capital complex between 9 am to 7 pm. as per the new rule framed by capital police.
SP said that there have been huge rush of vehicle during the office hours in the capital complex and the commuters have to face traffic jam and have to waste precious time.
It have been observed that the heavy vehicle also add to the traffic jam and light vehicle on some occasion have to crawl behind those heavy vehicles.
The capital police have make a time table so that heavy vehicle could not ply during the office hours and day time.
SP Vardhan said that few points have been made in the capital complex from which the heavy vehicle will not be allowed in the capital complex and no vehicle will be allowed until no entry time is lifted.
Two pints have bend made one at Chandra Nagar and another at Papu Nalllah and both location are on NH-415. Police have been alerted all check gate to inform the heavy loaded vehicle driver about the no entry of heavy vehicle in capital complex.
The vehicle coming form Hollongi area are being alerted at Chandranaagr while vehicle coming from Naharlagun are being alerted at Papu Nallah and diverted through Jully road.
All traffic police officers as well as Traffic personnel including Traffic Wardens have been informed and action have already been initiated, he however appeal the vehicle owners to operate in this regard.
