Itanagar; Don Bosco Alumni organises free mega medical camp

Don Bosco Alumni, Itanagar today organised free mega medical camp here at Don Bosco Youth Centre at Vivek Vihar which benefited to more than three hundred of local people of the area.

Addressing the gathering at the inauguration function Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein said that the Don Bosco institution have been doing their works with sincerity since its existence in state and is praise worthy.

He said that the alumni are too active which need to be appreciated and he himself being product of the Don Bosco felt that there is coordinated efforts in making such social activities in different parts of state and country.

Giving best wished for such noble activities by the alumni Members of Don Bosco and hope that more such activities would come up in solving the suffering of the humanity.

Chowna Mein  appreciated the Rotary club of Cochin wherein the team of specialist doctors from various hospital of Cochin for choosing the NE region and specially the Arunachal Pradesh for their camp.

Among other Chief Engineer (RWD) Kago Tabio and President DBA Itanagar delivered his key note address and motive of organising such mega medical camp and hope that with the support of such organisation and active alumni members of the Don Bosco social and other activities could be done to the masses.

Cochin Rotary Club Global President Paul Rajen Mampilly, DBA General Secretary Tadar Mepung Bage, DFCO Capital Complex Amit Bengia among other address the gathering

CGM, IOC K K Handique, 2nd In-charge of CRPF Itanagar Anil Kumar, SP (Fire Service) Kimi Aya, Bishop of Itanagar John Thomas, Director BDYC Father Cyiriac among other were present on the occasion.

Two wheel chairs were distributed by the visitors one for Catholic Hospital Borgoan while other for RK Mission and few water filter were given away for the schools in capital complex by the President of the Cochin Rotary Club

The camp wherein 22 doctors from Cochin Rotary club while 12 medical team from Catholic Hospital and 5 member from RK Mission taken part in the camp which examined more than 300 patient and free medicines were given away.
