Itanagar MLA Techi Kaso said that the doctors are next to god as everybody believe that doctors stands in between the life and death of a human being. Doctors and Para-medical staffs should show their good attitude so that patient with normal disease get immediate relief with their good attitude.
Kaso while addressing the gathering of doctors, Para-medical staffs during the flagged off of Ambulance service under NAS( National Ambulance Service) for Urban Public Health Centre (UPHC) at Ita fort dispensary today.
He further hoped that the ambulance would serve the purpose and would be a great help to the needy patients.
He lauded the team of Ita fort dispensary and hoped that the they will continue working dedicatedly and sincerely for the benefit of the people. He also appreciated them for keeping the Hospital neat and clean.
He also assured to take up the issue of construction of RCC building for the dispensary with the government by next year.
The DMO Papum Pare Dr. Taso Kampu briefed about the functioning of UPHC Ita fort which has all the basic facilities like OPD service, free Lab test Blood sugar ,BMI under NCD including CM / PM flagship Programme PMSMA,NDD, MI ,IDCF,JSY ( Janani surokshsha Yojna) which encourages pregnant women for institutional Delivery & provides incentive of Rs. 600 to mother and Rs. 400 to ASHAs, JSSK (Janani sishu suraksha karikaram) under which there is provision of free transportation ,medicine ,Hospitalisation for pregnant ladies ,and also scheme like Rs. 20000( one time fixed deposit) under Dulari Kanya for girl child born from 1st April 2017 and full incentivisation of Rs 1000 to mother for fully immunised children under 1 year age etc .
Medical Incharge Dr. Kabak Tamar informed that the UPHC Ita fort has witnessed a lot of achievements in the past two years viz up gradation from Dispensary to UPHC, Renovation of labour Room which was made functional, total repair and renovation of civil work of building done with help from District Administration Capital Complex. One of the major achievement was launching e Hospital at UPHC on 2st May 2018 which was inaugurated by DC Capital Complex Prince Dhawan.
Director Health Services Dr. M Lego delivered his experience and appeal the staffs to be remain helpful and maintain cordial relationship with patient. He assured his support in development of facilities.
