Itanagar: ‘charity food festival’ held at St. Thomas Residential School

A charity food  festival held at St. Thomas Residential School at Dam site where numbers of food stalls were organised.

Additional district Magistrate (ADM), Talo Potom today appeal all the parents to make friendly  with all activities with their ward even at home so that they cannot face any problem if they grew up.

Potom was addressing the ‘charity food  festival’ here at St. Thomas Residential School at Dam site where numbers of food stalls were organised.

Potom said that school is termed at temple of learning and it is a happy moment that the school also organise such innovative idea where the children can also learn how to cook food, helps mother during cooking,  cleaning utensils etc .

Potom lauded the teaching faculty in their endeavour and appeal them to continue with all other activities which bring good name to school in building the future of children.

Director of St. Thomas Residential School, Easho M Cheriyan  said that the school established in year 2001,  at present there are 405 students from Nursery to Class X.  Apart of school education the students are allowed to pursue several other activities like games ,  cultural activities, awareness programme etc.

He also inform that around twenty five thousand have been collected after selling the delicious foods to the visitors which would be donated to charity and orphanage.
