I have kept my commitment said Itanagar local MLA Techi Kaso to local people and few officials of Highway, PWD, Power and other department at road restoration site near Dree ground on NH-415 today afternoon.
Kaso said that though the NH-415 is the main lifeline of the twin city which would be converted to four land road shortly but in emergency situation like of recently landslide and heavy rain and flood fury it is our endeavour to serve the people in the time of need.
Itanagar capital complex Deputy Commissioner Prince Dhawan said that we work in our motive to restore the connectivity between twin capital city with timely intervention of Highway department and cooperation of the public.
The life line of the capital complex have been restored. Denizens of the capital complex are requested not to do illegal earth cutting and chock drain.
Highway Executive Engineer Nani Tath while said that if everything goes well and weather is fully supportive we will open the road by tomorrow morning. We want minimum support with GSB to prevent skidding and which may provide smooth flow of traffic there.
However the Highway department have pressed 4 PC, 2 JCB, 4 tippers and the restoration work is expected to be done latest by midnight and the traffic flow is expected this morning.
