Hanuman Jayanti celebrated in Guwahati

Shree Hanuman Jayanti, the birth celebration of Lord Hanuman, is celebrated across the country and the globe. Lord Hanuman is the symbol of loyalty and belief and is worshipped across the world. We are pleased to inform that Shree Hanuman Jayanti Mahotsav Samity, Gallapatty, Fancy Bazar has undertaken the herculean task of carrying forward the legacy of about 100 years to celebrate the Hanuman Jayanti on the upcoming 22nd April 2016. On the occasion of Shree Hanuman Jayanti, we proudly announce that the celebration to mark the birth of Lord Hanuman is underway in a huge manner under the strong and guiding leadership of Sri. Raj Kumar Tewari (President), Sri. Pramod Harlalka (Working President), Sri. Narayan Khakholia (Secretary) and a dedicated team of members.

We are pleased to inform that this year also we are going to celebrate Hanuman Jayanti at Hanuman Mandir situated in Gallapatty, T R Phookan Road, fancy Bazar, which is one of the oldest Hanuman temple in Assam as well as North East Region. The Hanuman Temple and its proximity will be beautifully decorated and the streets through which the cultural procession will pass through will be decorated with lights and flags on all the Establishments and Buildings en-route. The day long activities will start at the Hanuman Temple with the Pujan & Maha-Abhishek of Lord Hanuman followed by Maha- Aarti, huge Cultural Procession consisting of colourful and live characters followed by Cultural Program in the evening. For the first time in the cultural procession apart from other activities a special attraction in the form of Flying Hanuman (Udta Hua Hanumanji) shall be the core attraction for all section of people. During the Cultural Program, International Singer & Artist Sri Manoj Tiwari, Hon’ble Member Of Parliament shall grace the occasion as the Star Performer and display his undoubting skills of singing in service of Lord Hanuman.
We take pride in announcing that Hon’ble M.P & the Union Minister for Sports & Youth Affairs Sri. Sarbanand Sonowal along with other State Dignitaries has also given their  valued consent to attend the program.
