Dy CM Discuss Issues related to Chandranagar – Banderdewa Four Lane Highway

Deputy Chief Minister, Chowna Mein convened an urgent meeting to discuss the issues pertaining to execution of Four Lane Highway 415 from Chandranagar to Banderdewa in his Office Chamber this evening.

Dy CM said that the approval for the four lane highway from Chandranagar to Bandardewa has been obtained after a long persuasion and effort by the state govt and he strongly felt that this four lane highway should be constructed at any cost.

He called upon the people of the twin capital city and all the stake holders to cooperate with the district administration and the execution agency for the smooth construction of the road as it would ease the traffic congestion in the capital complex after completion. He further said that the road will benefit each and every individual of the state and appeal to the people to keep the state’s interest above the individual interest.

Bamang Felix, Minister of PHE & WS and IPR & P, Techi Kaso, Parliamentary Secretary for UD&H, Town Planning, Municipal Affairs and PWD, DC(Capital), Prince Dhawan, Chief Engineer (Highway), T Basar and EE(Highway), Nani Tath, Hage Khoda, Commissioner (PWD) were present in the meeting.

Deputy Chief Minister also convened another meeting of the Councillors of Itanagar Municipal Corporation tomorrow on matters related to the Four Lane Highway from Chandranagar to Banderdewa.
