DNGCSU demands immediate eviction of land encroachers in campus

The Dera Natung Government College Students Union today demanded immediate eviction of boundary fencing erected in the land at proposed  Type-II  quarter site of college campus by individuals.

When contacted DNGC Principal Kumar Tok said that a report of encroachment of government land in college campus has been submitted to the Chief Estate Officer cum ADM, Itanagar on July 31st and a team of the official have visited the site today.

 The land in question is nearby girls hostel and staffs quarters. Type-II quarter have been proposed in that area. However the activities have been stopped by capital police. He said that they have heard about  and there is apprehension that the plot of land has many owners distributed among them and apprehension it may be sold to other party if not stopped Kumar said.

However CEO cum ADM Talo Potom when contacted said that the encroachers have been identified and summoned on Monday next. Action will certainly be taken. All the structure will be removed in presence of the encroachers and college authority Potom said
