DGP Arunachal Pradesh awarded by MHA, Govt. of India

The DGP, SBK Singh awarded for “Best Category for imparting training in the field of Police Communication to Police Officials.”

The Director General of Police, Arunachal Pradesh, SBK Singh was awarded MHA, Govt. of India for “Best Category for imparting training in the field of Police Communication to Police Officials.”

The award was given by Minister of State (Independent Charge), Ministry of Labour and Employment, Santosh Gangwar In a grand function orgaised by Directorate of Coordination of Police Wireless, Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, on Tuesday at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi.

Superintendent of Police (Telecom),  Shankar Chaudhury,  accepted the award on behalf of the DGP.

Arunachal Police in path of modernising-DGP

The award recognizes the efforts of Arunachal Pradesh Police under the leadership of the present DGP, SBK Singh,  to establish Police Training College, Banderdewa as the best state training institute in North-Eastern states.

Pursuant to this vision, a dedicated Signal Training Centre has been set up at PTC Banderdewa to impart training in Wireless Communication to Police Officials.

The department has started focusing relentlessly on improving training of personnel, both quantitatively and qualitatively, to improve the skills and attitude of personnel and make Arunachal Pradesh Police a professional and an effective Police Force.
