Cultural Night at Aalo, CM announced Fund to Participants from own pockets

‘Discover North East – A Cultural Yatra’  a Cultural night was held in Aalo town of Arunachal Pradesh. In the event, 107 participants from seven Sisters of North East viz., Assam, Nagaland, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Tripura and Sikkim participated enthusiastically.  Arunachal CM Khaliko Pul have also attend this Cultural night.

While speaking on the occasion, Chief Minister urged upon the Director of North East Cultural Zone, Dimapur to continue organizing such events every year. He said that it not only provides platform for cultural exchange but also gives a message of unity in diversity. He opined to make this event an annual agenda of the state govt. in order to promote cultural exchange which would also help in creating an atmosphere of mutual understanding and peaceful co-existence in the region.

He called upon the participants not only to participate in the event but also to interact with each other, exchange ideas and  develop affinity for one another.

As an encouragement, CM announced to provide Rs 2000/- to each participant per day for five days from his own salary in addition to the meager amount of TA/DA provided by the NECZ, Dimapur of Rs 500 per day. He said to send the money to the Director, NECZ immediately.

Having full of appreciation for the noble initiative of Swachhta (cleanliness), CM also announced to give the same matching amount from his own salary to the award winners.

On the occasion, a Galo audio album ‘Dengom Dengom Be’ was released by the Chief Minister.
