Connectivity is the top in my agenda of development of 14 Doimukh assembly constituency,  Said MLA Tana Hali Tara.

Hali alongwith Papum Pare Deputy Commissioner Pige Ligu, Balijan Additional Deputy Commissioner Tasso Gambo, Doimukh PWD Executive Engineer Nabam Tado and other Heads of department made an inspection to the abandoned NEC road connecting Sangdupota Circle and Balijan Circle.

The team inspected the whole stretch of road around 40 kilometer by foot walk and tracking  as the road condition is  in bad shape and not worthy for vehicular movement since long.

Hali after reaching the Gai Village in Balijan circle from Rakap point in Sangdupota circle meet the villagers and discussed various grievance put forward by the villagers. MLA assured them to address their grievances and will take up the matter with appropriate department officials.

Addressing the gathering at Gai village, Hali said that since he got elected ‘ I have put forward my top agenda of development as connectivity’, I have apprise and discussed with Chief Minister Pema Khandu for sanctioning of more roads in Doimukh constituency as several places of the constituency is still to be connected with good road. Hali said.

He inform that the said road was constructed during late T C Teli when he was local MLA cum Minister and later it was abandoned. If this road is constructed then it would boost up the economic activities of people of Tarasso, Balijan and Sangdupota Circle and will also provide better connectivity to the people of the area with capital complex without touching Assam side.

The matter has been apprise CM of this road and CM has accepted the proposal under CCI for the year 2019-20. Hali added.

Earlier the team also visited the proposed land for army cantonment area in Rakap village
