GVK EMRI in collaboration with Stanford University School of Medicine organizes a CME Program on Obstetric Emergencies for the Non-Specialized Provider on 9th February 2016 in Assam. Renowned Emergency Physician of  Stanford University School of Medicine, USA is the speaker and resource person.  CME has covered the topics ‘ Eclampsia / Preeclampsia, Pulmonary Em bolus & cardiac Resuscitation, Approach to Trauma in Pregnancy & Post Partum haemorrhage and use of NASG.

Dr. Jennifer.A.newberry is a Co-Medical Director, Peninsula Family Advocacy Program a medical legal partnership. She is Instructor in the Department of Emergency Medicine, Stanford University School of Medicine, USA.

The aim of the CME Program is to enhance knowledge and skillest in synchronization with the  up gradation of current advancement in the field of Emergency Medicine amongst General Duty Doctors to manage common emergency conditions in limited resource settings. The Doctors serving in Public and Private Health Institution should be competent enough to manage common day to day emergencies.

Renowned Doctors of Govt. Medical colleges and Private Hospitals of Assam, Nurses and Medical and Nursing students were present in the CME. All the participants appreciated GVK EMRIs’ initiative in organizing CME on Obstetric Emergencies for the Non-Specialized Provider by Renowned International faculty in the North East India. They also thanked Stanford University School of Medicine for sending their faculty to NE India for organizing the CME on such important topics which will help our Doctors in their Knowledge advancement and finally help them to take better care of common people of the region.
