Capital police solved a kidnapping case within 6 hours on Monday and, not only arrested the kidnapper, also rescued the victim from the kidnappers .
Superintendent of Police Sagar Singh Kalsi while talking to Arunachal24 that yesterday at around 4 PM one Atiranjan Das of Ganga market came to Itanagar Police Station and reported that at around 2.30 Pm he got a call from his son who told that he had been kidnapped and the kidnappers are asking three lakhs for his releases.
Immediately a case vide FIR NO-300/17 u/s-364 (A) 34 IPC was registered and teams were formed under supervision of OC Tabi Bage, ASI A.K.Jha and others to lay traps, and raids at possible hideouts .
Mounting scientific and human intelligence traps were laid at various location at Jully, Ganga, G Extension, Division-IV area and one Kabak Tama was apprehended from Ganga area and subsequently the victim was also got rescued. Operation were conducted whole night and in early hours. Two more co-accused Tai Kumar, Gem Tara were arrested from Division-IV area. Efforts are on to apprehend more co-accused who are running at large.
Kalsi said that capital police is dedicated and maintain the law and order and assures the public that all crime will death seriously and preventive action alongwith participation of community like ‘Nagrik Bhaichara Committee’ are also on to create a peaceful atmosphere in the city in maintaining peace and tranquillity and other issue for communal harmony and coexistence. He added.
