Bomdila- Nirmala Sitharaman inaugurates Buddha Mahotsav

The Second Edition of Buddha Mahotsav is organising by District Administration west kameng District under the chairmanship of Dr Sonal Swaroop Deputy commissioner west kameng District from 4th November to 6th November 2017 at Buddha Stadium Bomdila.
Union Defence Minister Smti Nirmala Sitharaman Defence has inaugurated the Bomdila Buddha Mahotsav 2017 in presence of Kiren Rijiju Minister of State Home Affairs Govt of India, Advisor to CM cum local MLA Bomdila Japu Deru, Parliamentary Secretary Health, family and IT Phurpa Tsering, Parliamentary Secretary PHED and WS Kumsi Sidisow along with 5000 gathering.
Smti Nirmala Sitharaman on her speech thanks to MOS Home Kiren Rijiju and Chief Minister of AP Pema Khandu for inviting as chief Guest in this festival. She said that the rich culture and tradition of six tribe ( Monpa, sartang, shertukpen, Aka ( Hrusso ) Sajolang (Miji ) and Bugun) of west kameng District is still unexploited and should be preserve in its pristine form.
The MoS Home Affairs Kiren Rijiju on his address thanks to Union Defence Minister for accepting as chief Guest and thanks to bollywood singer Kelash kher who is coming and performing song without any taking money in this festival.
Deputy Commissioner west kameng District Dr. Sonal Swaroop has delivered vote of thanks. Tradional folk song and dance was performed, in the evening tetseo sister and local artist is going to perform.
