BJP is a party with a Difference, says Chowna Mein

The Deputy Chief Minister of Arunachal Pradesh,  Chowna Mein termed  the “BJP  as party with a difference”. He said the changes which are taking place at present were coming for good.

Mr Mein was addressing  the party workers in a program ” Sankalp Se Siddhi under Naya Bharat Manthan”  and the District Executive Meeting organised by District unit of BJP at Namsai Town Club.

Mr Mein further said that the way party men were putting in their efforts it is possible for a Congress Mukt North East after the next elections. He said that the state government has taken enough measures for proper financial management for transparency, accountability and above all to root out corruption.

He rubbished the statement of the APCC President alleging biggest scam due to composite sanction system. He called people not to believe in such unfounded statements.  He expressed the need for taking up innovative schemes and increase use of technology.

Addressing the gathering the State BJP president Tapir  Gao said that Namsai district could become a model district provided it maintains discipline both in the process of development and politically. He urged party men not to loose the opportunity of having a Deputy Chief Minister amidst them. He termed the booth level committees of the party as the foundation of the BJP and called to strengthen them.

Mr Gao spoke on the Tibetan Rehabilitation Policy and the recent decision for granting of citizenship to the Chakma and Hajong refugees adding that it was the work of the Congress party.

He said TRP was just a routine review programme while on the Chakma Hajong refugees he said the BJP lead government was just complying with the judgment and directives of the Supreme Court.

Earlier Chow Zingnu Namchoom, MLA Namsai moved the political resolution while Chow Arina Manpoong, State Executive Member moved the economic resolution. All the three Mandal presidents of Chongkham-Wakro, Namsai and Lekang submitted their respective reports to the state president.

Doni Nich and Chow Sujana Namchoom also spoke on the occasion. Tilling Dolley, BJP President of Lower Subansiri was also present.
