Ayushman Bharat fortnight observed in a befitting manner here at Yupia today by District Health Society Papum Pare. To mark the day, a mass rally was conducted from Upper Primary School, Yupia upto ZPC hall, Yupia wherein DC Papum Pare, alongwith officers and staffs of health department, school children, teachers and Nursing students participated .
While addressing a gathering at ZPC hall, Deputy Commissioner Pige Ligu called upon all school children to follow the basic health tips given during the awareness programme and share the message of cleanliness with parents and friends to remain alert and healthy.
He requested all to avail the health care facility providing at Health and Wellness Centres(HWC) which are given free of cost by the Govt and Chief Minister Arunachal Arogya Yojana (CMAAY).
He also requested Head mistress UPS Yupia to take up monthly health screening for school children at HWCs Yupia which is located nearby the school in co-ordination with health department.
District Medical Officer Dr.(Mrs) Subu Tasso Kampu who also spoke on the occasion highlighted on objective of Ayushmaan Bharat Pakwada celebration and available health facilities in Health and Wellness Centres. DRCHO Worar Taku and Shri Prince Jocab, State Programme Officer, HWC,JHPEIGO also spoke on the occasion.
A skit play was also displayed by the Nursing Student on benefits of Health and Wellness Centres.
