Arunachal Assembly passed the much awaited “Arunachal Pradesh Staff Selection Board Bill -2018, by voice vote.
The Arunachal Pradesh Staff Selection Board Bill -2018, has been passed by voice vote here in last day of Arunachal Pradesh’ s 6th Legislative Assembly of the 16th session, which was introduced by deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein on 28 August last.
Responding the suggestion of the legislators, Chief Minister Pema Khandu said that with increasing in educated person in state we have to bring reformation in the state which is very necessary. Department has lots of policies and rules but department did not bring reformation on it so lots of problems are facing in department.
There is lots of wrong trend like illegal appointment, back door entry etc are practicing in government Department by the high level officers with supports of political leaders. This should be need reformation for the welfare of state and for genuine unemployed youths of the state.
Various department has require man power in department and if they want they can create but officers are also think for their own benefits and some time they make back door appointment to their relatives. but after implements of this law, all C- D group post should be recruit through board and it should be fair and transparency and genuine youth will be get job.
Further CM also informed the house that by December 2018 first advertisements will be issues under the State staff selection board for recruitment of group -C post of various department.
He also said that there will district quota and examination should be conduct in Zonal wise under the guidance of SSB and there will be only written examination, no interview system to be conduct and the candidate who will qualified in written they will be directly appointment in the job.
Participating the on the bill MLA PD Sona , with this bill state is one steps ahead towards developments and good day of the state because through this bill State government going to check back door entry, corruption and nepotism, which are prevailing within various government department in the State.
After implementation of this law youths of state were ready to do hard works because they will aware that back door entry system are end and if not do hard works then they cannot get appointment is government job. he added.
Responding the opinion of the political Sona said that they should make statements after know the about the bill.
Appreciating the chairman should be appoint from an IAS officers , Sona advice that person to clean image .he also advice the examination to be conduct as calendar for the welfare of youth.
MLA Lisem Simai, this bill can bring accountability and transparency in the recruitment process of government job and the genuine youth will be get chance to absurd in the job and when merits candidates appoints work culture in department will be maintain.
MLA Gabrial D Wangsa, appreciating the government move on the recruitment process of group C job, he said that this system will bring confidence to the public and we the political leader and officers were free from the wrong impression.
And when genuine and good persons were appoints in department the work culture of department will be maintain. Because due to illegal and back door appoint in many department there is no work culture in many department.
