Assam: 15 days Summer School inaugurated at RGU

Through this unique first-time endeavor, RGU intends to bring the ‘hungry’ learners on a common platform and satisfy their need for knowledge!

‘Summer School’, the 15 days learning extravaganza being organized by Royal School of Engineering & Technology (RSET) and Royal School of Applied & Pure Sciences(RSAPS) was inaugurated by Prof.(Dr.) Alak K Buragohian, Chairperson(Academics) in the presence of Prof. Anuradha Devi, Dean, RSAPS, Prof. Biswajit Banerjee, Ex- Dean, RSET, several other eminent Professors, faculty and participants on 1 July 2019 at Royal Global University.

Prof. (Dr.) S.P.Singh, Vice Chancellor addressing the participants stated that students should instill a scientific temper in them as it assists in fact finding in all fields today. Technical practical learning surpasses all forms of learning as it is life-long companion, assisting in all walks of life, be it in the field or a laboratory. Prof. Buragohain stressed on the objectives of organizing a summer school and explained the importance of building a scientific temper in the young minds.

Summer School started today with a huge participation from the students of classes 8-12 of Guwahati region. The concept of Summer School which will help the young children to make up their mind to choose their career later in life whether be it medicine, engineering, science, research or any other. It will be a learning platform where the young minds will be exposed to the latest happenings in the field of technology. Through this unique first-time endeavor, RGU intends to bring the ‘hungry’ learners on a common platform and satisfy their need for knowledge!
