Arunchal: Tuki inaugurates several project in Sagalee and Toru

Former Chief Minister and Sagalee MLA Nabam Tuki today inaugurated several developmental projects in Toru and Sagalee sub-division of his assembly constituency.

While inaugurating the projects, Tuki congratulate the Engineers, Contractors and workers for the timely completion despite of so many hurdles during the course of the project. He complimented the Engineers for the quality work and urged them to maintain the same temperament in future too.

He further appealed the Public and all the stake holders to take care of the assets so that it is used in the best public interest and reiterated his  support and cooperation in the venture.

While speaking to the Doctors & Nurses fraternity at CHC Sagalee, he assured to provide one Ultra sound machine from his own sources for the CHC, Sagalee and request the DMO Yupia who was also present to immediately post an ultra sound technician for the CHC, Sagalee.

He also appeal the general public present on the occasion in huge numbers to maintain the asset which would serve the need for years together if it is upkeep properly.

A release issued by Sagalee PWD division said that the important scheme/project which include double Storied School Building for Govt. Hr.Sec. School Sagalee built at an estimated cost of Rs. 1045.15 Lakh under funding from North Eastern Council(NEC).

The RCC framed building of G+1 configuration is spread at an plinth area of 3659.00 Sqm which can accommodate 1080 students at a time with 36(thirty six) class room. It is also first of its kind Govt. School of Arunachal Pradesh, where the provision for differently able person has been provided.

Community Health Centre (CHC) at Sagalee built at an estimated cost of Rs. 555.55 Lakh is spread at an plinth area of 1165.50 Sqm under grant from SPA 2015-16.

Indoor Stadium at Toru built under funding from North Eastern Council(NEC) at an estimated cost of Rs. 278.00 Lakh with an plinth area of 1400 Sqm has the  provision to cater fire hazard and has the best architectural features encompassing the modern requirements of an ideal indoor stadium.

Nyokum Cultural Stage at Toru, built with funding from SIDF of 2017-18 at an estimated cost of Rs. 20.00 Lakh with the plinth area of 152 Sqm.

ADC Sagalee S. Lowang, PWD Sagalee Division Executive Engineer Nabam Takar, DMO Yupia Tasso Khampu, CO Toru Radhe Omo also spoke in the inauguration programme.

The inauguration programme was attended among others by Officers, Contractors, Public Leaders, GB’s, Elders, teaching staffs and students. The release added.
