Young generation Football Club  (YGFC) of  Papu Nallah lift the Pachin Premier league football tournament by 1/0 in  a deciding match in final which played here with United FC at Government Secondary School Pachin football ground today afternoon even in inclined weather.

The PPlFT organised by Sangcham Ajing football club (SAFC) wherein a total of 12 team participated which kick off on December 9.

Giving away the winner trophy Itanagar local MLA Techi Kaso in his address said that playing of games and sports support to stay fit and healthy but at the same time one should play any games keeping in mind to become a fine gentleman with discipline and sincerity.

While encouraging the youths and players on the occasion Kaso said that youths have a great role in the state development and appeal them to play in team spirit with communal harmony which would foster brotherhood among all community of state and country.

He extended financial assistance to the club for further promotion of football in future prospect and assured all help.

Guest of Honour student’s leader Tarh Tahi motivated the youths and urge upon to continue to play for good health but with discipline. He urge upon to stay away from drug and work for the community and society development but at the same time the academic activities should not be hampered.

Organising Chairman Tadar Takiong, Organising Secretary Tarh Agon, Games and sports Secretary Dari Lugu, Delhi Arunachal Students Union (DASU) President  Likha Akash, local resident and students of school among others were present during the valedictory function.

The winner team went away with trophy with a cash prize of Rupees Fifty Thousand while runner team received trophy with a cash prize of Twenty five thousand. Dorjee Serpa become the highest scorer, Nabam Jackey become the best player, Lishe Lee become best goal keeper while ACRO become the discipline team who were also awarded on the occasion.
