Arunachal: Year’s long sadbhavana yatra to spread Gandhi’s ideologies

National Youth Project , Arunachal Pradesh sponsored sadbhavana yatra will spread Mahatma Gandhi’s ideologies.

Capital Deputy Commissioner Prince Dhawan today flagged off sadbhavana yatra from Itanagar which shall tour for next three days in the capital complex and papum Pare district and ,  twenty days in all parts of state right from Eastern boundary of Longding to western boundary to Tawang and then to Assam, Nagaland and other parts of NE region and country.

While addressing the gathering DC Prince Dhawan said that this Sadbhavna Yatra is started on the birth anniversary of father of nation Mahatma Gandhi which shall continue to reach the all parts of state and country and  reach more than 5 crore people in the year long yatra.

The National Youth Project (NYP) AP sponsored yatra will spread Mahatma Gandhi’s ideologies. The common theme of the events would be to spread the concept of communal harmony.

Dhawan said that first leg of the celebrations kick off with Gandhi Youth Sadbhavna Yatra in all 719 district in India starting from Arunachal Pradesh and culminate at Raj Ghat New Delhi in Pan India level.

Selected youths will take out a car rally with songs, dance, seminar, nukkad natak, padyatras various quiz competitions, exhibitions, cycle rally and poster stamp competitions lecture series and symposiums on topics related to the philosophies practiced by Mahatma Gandhi. Schools and College students from across educational institutions and academics would be encouraged to participate in these programmes across the country.

The yatrs will communicate with 5 crore people and make awareness of love, peace, non-violence and teachings of Mahatma Gandhi.
