Papum Pare district deputy commissioner Dr. Joram Beda today give a clarion call to all stake holders to come forward and work for the upliftment of the education scenario and strengthened of education sector of districts and state.
Dr. Beda was addressing the 9th felicitation function as chief guest organised by All Sagalee Employees Forum (ASEF) here at conference hall of Hotel Tosum.
He said that we have to retrospect ourselves that what and where went wrong and the CBSE result of this year was so poor. While showing his serious concern on the poor performance by the student in last CBSE examination Dr. Beda said that it is the need of hour that we as a parents have to come forward and unite ourselves and check the career of our children so that next year the result improves.
He said no parents expect such poor performance by their ward and there is a need of a change and for which all stake holders have to come together.
The key of the education lies in the government schools but this year the students who excel are from private school and the change is immediately needed as government is also showing its concern in this regard. He urge upon the organising committee members to organise such programme where the toppers of all discipline are invited to attend all CBSE participating schools in the Sagalee sub-division and appeal the social workers/senior citizen to adopt one school and patronage for the development and upliftment of education scenario and system.
He further motivated and inspired the gathering to come forward to put an united effort for improving the education system of state and at the same time he suggested to guide the younger generation from involving in unnecessary activities and misguided by others.
ASEF President Er. Gollo Tagar in his address elaborated all activities of the organisation and challenges faced in the computer age. He highlited all activities and support of the employee form members in all circles of the Sagalee sub-division like Swachh Bharat abhyan, social service, felicitation programme and other programme for last 9 years. He sought continuous support for the development, unity, and prosperity of the area.
ASEF Secretary General Nabam Tatum Hina, Vice President Er Techi Totu Tara, BJP Vice President Domnik Tadar, senior members Techi Nyokum, , Er. Debia Padang, Dr. Techi Mongni Tarh, Kara Putulee, Nabam Tania, Tad Tana, Nabam Kiron, Tarh Hari, Taba Ayo among others were present and address the gathering.
Class X Toppers Nabam Talam, Chukhu Talam, Nabam Yayer, Mallo Megha, Class XII toppers Jermin Taba Martha, Tarh Tayang, Techi Joengam, Nabam Yate and Nabam Paul were felicitated with certificate, a trophy and a cash award. Taba Rozick and Tai Sonu were felicitated for the selection in JEE main at sl no-5472 and NEET at sl no-8749 in ST category respectively.
Dr. Nabam Dol on being selection as Medical Officer from APPSC, Nabam Tunia on being gold medallist for MA from Sikkim University while Taba Ayo as a social worker were felicitated on the occassion
