Arunachal: Tayeng Guruji’s Mortal Remains laid to rest

The mortal remain of Late Tem Tyeng Tarh Popularly known as ‘Guruji’ laid to rest this afternoon.

Late Guruji who died yesterday afternoon was given a sendoff by large numbers of people from all walk of life at A Sector resident today.

Guruji was a popular social worker after he tender his service as Teacher for the service of the society in seventies those days when the state was under NEFA and later in Union territory and statehood.

His services toward the society will always be remembers said Tarh Welfare Society (TWS) General Secretary Tarh Tarak.

The eminent personalities who attended his last rite former Chief minister Gegong Apang, Itanagar local MLA Techi Kaso, former Minister Lechi Legi, Pakkekessang former MLA Techi Hemu, PPA Chairman Kameng Ringu, Director health Services Dr. M. Lego, Project Director APSACS Dr. Riken Rina, Liaison Officer to Chief Minister Nera Techi, IMC Deputy Chief Councillor Tarh Nachung, Borum ZPM Techi Tolu, Arunachal Chamber of Commerce (ACC) president Techi Lala.

Late Tayeng Guruji son Tayeng Donyi said that the mortal remain to rest in peace at 12.00 hrs and a huge gathering was present, before a church service  was done by Pastor Rev. Kara Tayo, Town Baptist Church, Naharlagun
