Arunachal: Taxi driver dies in a fight

One Taxi Driver Nayang Taji of Doimukh Taxi Stand  and a resident of Dikrong Colony, Nirjuli succumbed to his injury on being beaten (punched) at Doimukh Taxi stand this morning.

Papum Pare Superintendent of Police Tumme Amo informed that  an FIR was received from one Nayang Tarang of Papunullah Naharlagun to the effect that one Tana Jaswa S/o former ZPM Tana Bado of Doimukh has punched his brother Nayang Taji to his ribs at Doimukh market Taxi stand. As a result, he succumbed to his injuries.  Accordingly Doimukh a case no 06/18 US 302 IPC has regd.

Amo said that the incident occurred when the accused picked up quarrel with one taxi driver Tagru Tama at Doimukh market near the taxi stand who was intervened by the deceased Nayang Taje another taxi driver and the accused shifted his anger towards him and punched his ribs and head who fell unconscious at the Place of occurrence  and succumbed to the injuries.

SP further refer to a case of Doimukh  PS C/No 05/18 U/S 325/34 IPC registered on receipt of FIR on Jan 22  from Nabam Vhisnu of vill Topte that on 21/01/18 at Harahapa, Jampa picnic area at around 1600 hours .Vimal Thakuria,  Nanung Pakba, Tai Thapa assaulted his younger brother inflicting grievous injuries on his person. All the named accused persons arrested  while his younger brother  is under medical treatment. Amo added.
