Arunachal: Tapir Gao lauds role of Mother Teresa home in serving the society
Chief Minister Pema Khandu on September 4, 2016 have presented a citation on the day of canonization of Blessed Mother Teresa as saint.

BJP President Tapir Gao recently visited the mother Teresa Home located at Turulamchi in Borduria of Tirap district recently and interacted the members of sister of charity who are serving the society.
Gao alongwith Rubber Board former Chairman Likha Maj and several church and BJP leaders visited the Mother Teresa Home and interacted with the sister working there. He lauded the role of Mother Teresa Home and its team members and assured his support for the cause of suffering of the humanity.
At present there are around 13 inmates who are getting medication and health care facility as well as self employment training so that they can become a good citizens with healthy body and sound mind after they are discharge from the Home.
It is to mentioned that Chief Minister Pema Khandu on September 4, 2016 have presented a citation on the day of canonization of Blessed Mother Teresa as saint. The citation was presented by government of Arunachal Pradesh acknowledging the untiring and dedicated service rendered by the missionaries of Charity, Borduria, Tirap district to the People of Arunachal Pradesh.
