Yupia- Gyamar Tajik memorial Football tournament

The 3rd Late Gyamar Tajik memorial Football tournament was kick off by  Papum pare District BJP President Tana Hali Tara at its inaugural function held at Middle School playground at Tikdo on Saturday. Addressing the players and local people Hali recalling the sincerity in development by Late Gyamar Tajik for establishment of district headquarter ‘Yupia’ Hali appeal the to maintain team spirit and brotherhood.

Itanagar – World disabled day Celebration

The week long celebration of culture, games and sporting event organised by Arunachal Pradesh Disable Artist Forum (APDAF) on Sunday . Addressing the gathering Arunachal Pradesh State Council of Science & Technology (APSCS&T) Chairman Bamang Mangha said disability is not a curse, they have equality as like us and they need to be supported and assured his full support calling them as person with special to the divyang. He said they are part of society and one should not discriminate as they are equally shouldering  responsibility in the part of nation development

Itanagar-  APHWS & APPAD celebrated World disability day

Arunachal Pradesh Handicapped Welfare Society (APHWS) along with the Arunachal Pradesh Parents Association for Disabled (APPAD) celebrated the International Day of person with Disabilities at Dera Natung Govt. College Auditorium Hall. Advisor to Chief Minister Tai Tagak present during the celebration as Chief Guest distributed Handicapped appliances provided by Department of Social Justice, Empowerment and Tribal Affairs (SJETA) to the members.Tagak said that every disabled should remember that they are differently able and it’s the gift of god.

Itanagar- AP Science Centre celebrates foundation day

Arunachal Pradesh Science Centre (APSC) celebrates its 12th foundation day in befitting manner here at Science Center at IG Park today. On the occasion Addressing the celebration Arunachal Pradesh State Council for Science & Technology Chairman Bamang Mangha in his address said that the modern world is now depending on technology for easier and convenient of human being in all day to day activities. World is changing from earlier and all are due to change in science with technology . Scientific knowledge with the help of new technology will help the young scientist to upgrade themselves and become a good scientist.

Itanagar- World Day for the Disabled’

The First Lady of the State Smt Neelam Misra graced the ‘World Day for the Disabled’ celebration at Donyi Polo Mission School for the Hearing and Visually Impaired, Chimpu, Itanagar on 3rd December 2017. Speaking on the First Lady of the State said that every member of the society must contribute to help the differently abled children to integrate themselves to the main stream. The children of special need deserve respect, not pity and equality and not dependence. It is the social responsibility of all to assist these children to be independent, she emphasised while assuring that she will remain connected with the school.

Pasighat-  Quiz contest on voter awareness

As per instruction of Election Commission of India (ECI), a quiz contest on voter awareness was conducted for the students (14-17 years) studying in schools across the district yesterday on Dec-2 in the DC’s conference hall by the District Election Officer (DEO), East Siang. Altogether twenty two students from nine government and three private schools participated in the district level round. DEHS School, Pasighat and Kendriya Vidyalaya have been qualified to take part in the state level competition. Students selected at the state-level round will be sent to New Delhi to compete in the national-level round.

Khonsa-  World Disabled Day celebrated

Along with rest of the world  “World Disabled Day” was observed at Khonsa under the aegis of SSA District Mission Tirap in which Prabhat Pheri with a slogans was started from morning 7 am from BRC to Bazar Tina-Ali  Junction via DC’s office, Khonsa. A drawing, painting and solo songs competition was also held at BRC’s office hall, Khonsa to mark the “World Disable Day.

Longding-  Mega Health Camp

A mega health camp was organized on Sunday at Community Health Centre, Kanubari in Longding district.  The mega health camp was participated by seven specialist doctors from Assam Medical College, Dibrugarh, besides two doctors from CHC Kanubari. The team of doctors and Consultants conducted free consultation and check-ups concerning various departments- cardiology, medicines, general surgery gynaecology, plastic surgery, paediatrics, neurology, orthopaedics etc.More than 500 people from Kanubari Sub division covering almost thirty three villages and nearby Assam
