Pasighat – Gaon Burah donate School welcome gate

Gaon Burah of Mirku village, Ongin Gao donated a welcome gate to the school which was formally inaugurated by Pasighat East MLA Kaling Moyong and DC, Pasighat Tamiyo Tatak on Saturday. Ongin Gao was among the 1st batch of this school. While speaking  this occasion  Ongin Gao now 61 years old, recalled that he was among the four students  of 1st batch of this school during 1964 with two girls and two boys. “Out of love and affection, I had thought of constructing this welcome gate for more beautification of the school so that, other should also take up such measures in other places.

Changlang- AR apprehended NSCN ( IM ) cadre 

A report received from Assam Rifles that delivering yet another blow to the insurgent groups the Changlang Battalion of Assam Rifles under the aegis of Dao Division apprehended a cadre of NSCN (IM) SS Pvt Mohonong Tikhak, 29 yrs. A 2.2 USA made pistol with five rounds and magazine along with other Non war like stores like one previously surrendered NSCN(IM) card was recovered from the possessions of the individual and handed over to Ledo out post.

Raga- Sanitary pick up truck 

Tamar Murtem, Parliamentary Secretary, and Raga MLA flagged off the sanitary pick up truck of UD and Housing for Raga on Saturday . On the occasion he also assured to provides 6 (Six) Sanitary Labourers from his MLA LAD fund until further sanction of labourers from the Government.

Itanagar –  Cashless challan

Cashless challan, an initiative of the Government of Arunachal Pradesh was launched by Union Home Secretary Rajiv Gauba at CMs conference Hall on Friday amidst the presence of the Chief Secretary Satya Gopal, DGP Sandeep Goel and a host of other officers. The Deputy Commissioner Capital Complex Prince Dhawan presented a PPT during the launch highlighting the features and the process of the cashless traffic challan payment system.

Yingkiong- New APSTS Bus service 

The Arunachal Pradesh State Transport Services  reintroduced the day bus service on route Yingkiong  to Itanagar via Pangin and Pasighat from Friday. The station superintendent, Yingkiong R.K.Keche informed that the Bus service has been introduced to ease the plight of general public of Upper Siang who has to pay higher fares to reach the state HQ.

Mariyang- Publicity outreach campaign 

A 21 days long mega publicity outreach campaign of state government, organised under aegis of District Planning Officer, to generate mass awareness of all Prime Minister and Chief Minister flagship schemes was held across all administrative areas of Upper Siang District.  In the three weeks long programme concern administrative officers of the division and circles, HoD’s of various departments and general public in large attended the awareness programmes held at Mariyang, Mopom, Geku, Katan, Komkar, Jenngging, Moying and Gobuk.
