JAIRAMPUR- Spoken English Course

One month Spoken English Course (Advance) organized by RK Mossang Memorial Society was concluded on 30/04/2017 it was started from 1st of April’2017, total 25 nos. of teachers from KGBV Maganton, KGBV Amchong, KGBV Lolung & Elementray Residential Schools  participated in the programme.  Dinesh Sharma from Matle Institute cum Spoken English, Jagun, Assam was the resource person in the training programme. 3 nos. of trainee teachers had given feedback of the training programme and cultural programme was also performed by trainee teachers.

SIANG- Aadhar/Biometric Enrolment

An urgent coordination meeting with all Admin Officers-Cum-Enrolment Agencies of Siang District was convened by the DC-Cum-District Registrar,  Rahul Singh on 1st May’2017 to get a detailed first-hand information on the status of ongoing Aadhar/Biometric Enrolment coverage as part of the state wide Enrolment Programme, Circle-wise BME Progress, Publicity about significance of Aadhar Enrolment, impending issues related to setting up of villages wise BME camps and to evolve innovative measures on expediting and providing doorstep service for enrolment by involving all stakeholders viz PRI members, government departments and Gaon-Burahs. He also instructed to collaborate related activities under one umbrella like linking of Aadhar number to bank accounts, awareness on generation of e-Aadhar, opening of new bank accounts etc in these camps.

ZIRO- Labour Day Celebrated

Labour Day was celebrated in a befitting manner in Abotani Hall, Hapoli today. BJP Mandal President Tadu Lalyang graced the occasion as chief guest. Addressing the gathering he informed that MLA Tage Taki will immediately facilitate the construction of Labour Office and labour stand at Ziro and Hapoli.  Nyilang Pugang, DLEO suggested for compulsory registration of the Labours with the Labour Office to avail benefits announced by the government for registered workers. RO Punyo Tana, President All Arunachal Pradesh Labour Union, Lower Subansiri district unit Bini Raj, Secretary , Rubu Taka and around 700 workers attended the program.

Power Supply Restore in Storm affected Areas in Papum PareROING- Dambuk-Roing-Pasighat is cut off

 In a report received from ADC Dambuk,  Atul Tayeng informed that communication to Dambuk-Roing-Pasighat is cut off since last week. Communication to Dambuk-Bizari-Paglam has also been cut off and the Log Bridge at 14 kilo between Dambuk –bizari road was washed out by heavy flood water. He also informed that heavy erosion by Dibang at Bomzir and Bizari also pasting area and the main rice fields of Dambuk is also eroding at alarming rate. The artist of orange festival is also in danger of erosion by Dibang River.  Ration Stock will last for some time and since communication is not expected to be through before winter ration sorties by Helicopter has to be carried out for Dambuk and Paglam he further informed. In this regard DC Roing has already sent message to the concern authority and the situation is being monitor by District Administration, the report further stated.

ROING-  Labour Day Celebrated

International Labour Day was celebrated here in a befitting manner amidst huge gathering of working class population at AAPWU office premises here today. The Chief Guest of the programme was  Mutchu Mithi, Hon’ble MLA and Guest of Honour was Dabe Perme, EE PWD. Addressing on various grievances of worker’s union on the occasion Mutchu Mithi, hon’ble MLA urged to uphold the dignity of Labour and stressed on safety and welfare measures of working communities. In the event of any causality to worker, compensation should be provided to rightful nominees he said and there should not be any compromise on appointment of post on compassionate ground and regarding appropriation of BPL beneficiary’s necessary steps may be taken for the benefits of workers, he further said. On the occasion he also assured for funding of Aganwadi office at lower dibang valley district, for the AAPAW&HU and donated Rs.1 lakh for worker’s relief fund and Rs. 50,000/- for sundry purpose of workers union body.

AALO- Trade Union celebrated  International Labour Day

The Joint Working Committee of Arunachal Pradesh Trade Union celebrated the International Labour Day at Gumin Kiin amid fanfare today.  Gadam Ete, Ex. MLA, Gijum Tali DIPRO and Jhummi Kamum, Divisional Accountant RWD graced the occasion as Chief Guest, Guest of Honour and Special Guest respectively and dwelt at length on history of labour Day and gave their goodwill messages to the labour community. They exhorted the labour force to discharge their duties efficiently as a working force to be reckoned with.  Ete hoisted the May Day Flag and meeting observed one minute silence as a mark of respect to sad demise of late Henjum Lollen. Rinto Ete President, Kirmin Doji Vice President and Kirde Geyi Working Secretary JWCAPTU highlighted the objectives behind celebrating the day across the world and sought cooperation of all members to claim their rights and duties before the govt.

YINGKIONG- May Day Celebrated at Yingkiong

May Day was organized at Yingkiong by the District Unit of All Arunachal Pradesh Worker’s Union 1st May 2017. Speaking on the occasion, Chief Guest, Tore Ete, District Labour & Employment Officer, Yingkiong highlighted on the provisions of labour laws and the benefits available to the various categories of labourers as envisaged in the Act. Good number of labourers from various govt. department as well as private labourers participated in the programme. Members of all Arunachal Pradesh Anganwadi Worker & Helper Union also participate. Similar programmes were also organized at Geku & Mariyang Circle.

YUPIA- Hangpan Dada Memorial Trophy

1st ever Hangpan Dada Memorial Trophy Constituency Level Football & Volleyball Men & Women kicked off at PHEP, NEEPCO Sport Ground, Doimukh Assembly Constituency today amidst fan and fare. Chief Guest R.T. Tara, Manager, HR, NEEPCO exhorted the players to maintain sportsmanship spirit games and sports a platform to showcase ones talent and learn the art of discipline and oneness. Participating team are from Balijan, Doimukh, Gumto, Kimin, Sangdupota, Tarraso. Inaugural football match was played between Doimukh and Sangdupota, Doimukh beat Sangdupota 2-0, Volleyball Women-Kimin defeated Tarasso, Volleyball men-Tarasso defeated Doimukh, Balijan defeated Gumto.

NAMSAI- Multi-Speciality Health Camp

A Multi-Speciality Health Camp was conducted by the Rotary Club of Duliajan, Assam in collaboration with the District Health Society, Namsai on April 30 in Namsai. Over 300 patients suffering from various ailments were examined and treated free of cost by a team of doctors and para-medical staff, comprising of paediatrician, medicine, ENT, dental and eye specialists. The camp was inaugurated by MLA Chow Tewa Mein, in presence of DMO Dr Nani Rika, officers and officials of CHC Chowkham. The MLA requested the Rotary Club to organize similar health camps in other places in Namsai for the benefit of poor and needy patients.
