Sinchung:  Kumsi inaugurates  gate for Gompa 

Parliamentary Secretary PHE & WS Kumsi Sidisow inaugurated Main gate constructed which add to the beauty of the Gompa (Bodh Vihar campus)  at Sinchung Circle headquarter in West Kameng on Saturday. He asked the people to stay deep rooted in one’s own culture and tradition and discover emotionally the teachings of Lord Buddha . He asked the people to share their joys and sorrows and requested them to be a agents of peace and harmony. The gate constructed at an estimate cost of  15 lakhs sanctioned under DOKKA and executed through the WRD Bomdila Division for a Gompa covering 300 square metres.

Aalo-Green Walk

Aimed at increasing the green cover of Aalo and towards achieving town beautification, a massive plantation drive titled ‘Green Walk’, organised by Aalo Forest Division, was carried out here on January 27 last. the plantation drive started from Govt Hr Sec School, Aalo via DC office up to 2nd AAP headquarters with HoDs planting rich varieties of ornamental plants like Gulmohar and Ashoka all along the road. Sharing her views, West Siang Deputy Commissioner Swetika Sachan said that this kind of initiative by the Aalo Forest Division is a good step towards the aesthetics of the town and will go a long way to improve its urban landscape.

Tawang- Student’s Union meeting

A federal meeting of All Tawang District Students’ Union was held at Zomkhang hall recently to converse on a slew of educational “barriers” under Tawang district. Number of issues regarding school and college campus development were raised in the meeting . It was also found that some of the govt schools were functioning without basic amenities like proper sanitation and drinking water facilities.The issue regarding the reported fake ST certificates and exploitation of refugee card was also discussed, to which the members complied to intrude with utmost determination.

Itanagar – Awareness on Measles Rubella (MR) Vaccine

The campaigning for the Measles Rubella Vaccine (MR) continue in capital complex as the officials of the Health department is extending its awareness campaign in almost all the schools and periphery schools in twin city.  Such a campaign was seen in Kendrya Vidyalaya-II at Chimpu where large numbers of parents of students and local residents took part which was address by the officials of the department on Saturday.

Itanagar- Cary forward the work of God

Carry forward is the work of God said Deputy Director State Blood Transfusion Council (SBTC), Naharlagun Dr. Nabam Budh to the youths during the 14th Birthday celebration of his son Abohipu Nabam at RKM Hospital on Saturday. Dr.Budh while addressing the youth said that everything is possible on this earth by the grace of almighty and every one have born to die in some day and before one dies one have to do some good works which are social in nature and are expected by the society and it should be for the welfare of the community and massed.

Itanagar- 5th youth foundation day celebrated

5th youth foundation day celebrated by Ward no. 7 youth association  at Senki Valley ground with several sports competition badminton volleyball tug of war etc. On the occasion Chief guest Techi Tolu said that an individual must know them self first, if your are a sports man you should know in which field your are good. He ask the youths to avail the PMGP it may decrease the percentage of unemployed and keep the surroundings and sector clean.
