Kra Daadi- District level Chess tournament concluded

1st ever Kra Daadi District chess tournament concluded on Monday at a simple  function being attended by All Arunachal Pradesh Widow Welfare Association President Byabang Yaram as a Chief Guest who give away the prizes. All prizes were sponsored by M/s Paking Paling Multipurpose cooperative Society in Memory of Lt. Byabang Tania. An amount of Rs.81,000/-  were involved in individual Cash Prizes along with trophy and certificate. Out of total 36 contenders, Tami Jetli was the champion  and  awarded with a sum of Rs.25000/- with trophy and certificate, while Charu Taji scores second position with sum of Rs.15000/-,  trophy  and certificate.

Longding- NEC Secretary Ram Muivah visits Senua village

NERCORMP  (The Opium de Addiction  mission ) is not a top down approach, it is a bottom up approach.” Exhorted Secretary NEC cum Chairman NERCORMP  Ram Muivah IAS in his brief speech to the mammoth gathering of villagers, NGOs and other federal unit of NERCORMP at Senua village under Longding district here on November 26. Muivah was here to interact with the people of the area in regards to the NERCORMP project. “The  self help women and the villagers should take the first decision regarding the project they ought to take for sustainable livelihood and we will give a full support”,  he added.

Lohit- Sankalp Se Siddhi Tak

Sankalp Se Siddhi Tak (new India manthan),a mega publicity outreach campaign by State Government for mass awareness of all Flagship Schemes under Prime Minister and Chief Minister, SADA, RIDF was held at the Conference Hall of DC Tezu, in the august presence of Dr. Mohesh Chai Hon’ble Minister Animal Husbandry & VS Art & Culture, Anirudh Singh IRS Commissioner Tax & Excise, and Deputy Commissioner Karma Leki, here today. Dr. Chai informed the house that the main objective of the outreach programme is to familiarise the officers about all the developmental schemes that is being undertaken in the State through various departments and agencies.

Lower Subansiri- Task Force meeting

The 1st District Task Force meeting on Measles- Rubella Immunisation Campaign was held in the DC Chamber on Monday. Chairing the meeting Deputy Commissioner  Kemo Lollen stressed upon the need for a collective effort from all the stakeholders. “Since the 90% of the target population (9 months to 15years) of the Measles- Rubella (MR) campaign are school going children, the principals and the teachers of the schools both government and private will have to be trained and oriented well for the effective coverage of the immunisation program.

West Siang- Tadar Tang Memorial State Level Football Tournament 

The West Siang and East Siang were locked 1-1 in the inaugural match of the Tadar Tang Memorial State Level Football Tournament conducted by District Football Association at general Ground today. The West Siang team took the lead through a penalty in the first half. The East Siang bounced bach in the second half to level it 1-1. In another match Siang takes on Upper Siang. Gracing the occasion as the Chief Guest former Zilla Chairperson Gamlin, Guest of Honour and Secretary DSA and DOA Shri Karik Lollen exhorted the players to maintain the true sportsmanship spirit to finish off the Zonal tournament in the district.

Yupia- District Rubella Vaccination Campaign Workshop

District Health Society, Papum Pare had conducted District Rubella Vaccination Campaign Workshop on Monday at Yupia , under the chairmanship of Tai Kaye, Deputy Commissioner Papum Pare.           Chairman Tai Kaye had advised all participants to carry out the nationally important health programme which Government of India is closely monitoring through video-conference time to time. He also advised all health care delivery personnels to report timely at all their service delivery points without having any lacunae while discharging public services.
