Itanagar-  Voluntary blood donation Cam

An  emergency  Voluntary blood donation Cam organized by the women help line under the Oju Mission and Arunachal Vivekananda Yuva Shakti (AVYS) in collaboration with State blood transfusion council (SBTC) and Ramakishna Mission Hospital, Itanagar. Where more than 50 volunteers donated blood voluntarily and total of 24 units of bloods had been collected in day long camp. Where, 13 female and 11 male volunteer are donated their blood.

Naharlagun- Apex Bank ATM

RD & PR Minister Aalo Libang is scheduled to launch the ATM services of Arunachal Pradesh State Cooperative Apex Bank here tomorrow in presence of Bank’s administrator Dr. Olik Taring and MD-cum-CEO Tsering Thongdok. State owned Apex Bank, set up in 1977 that expanded to all over the state with its 32 branches and with 34 LAMPS, would add a new feather with ATM service to facilitate easy transactions for its customers.

Namsai- Training program on GeM

A Training program on “Government e-Marketplace” (GeM) conducted here in the DC’s conference hall for all HoDs, DDOs and Vendors. Inaugurating the training program, B Talukdar, ADC Namsai informed that procurement of goods & services has been mandated through GeM portal by Central Government and the State Government is also emphasizing on procurement by various departments through this portal. He informed that Head of offices of Govt Department need to register as Buyers & vendors as sellers.

Kanubari- New Office of EE Water Resource Dpt

Kanubari MLA cum Chairman APSCIT & e Governance Gabriel Denwang Wangsu on Monday inaugurated the new Office of the Executive Engineer Water Resource Division here at Kanubari. Addressing on the occasion, the MLA while appreciating the WRD team for bringing up the structure, stressed on the gathering to get maximum benefit of the assured irrigation to their rain fed cultivable command area and try to bridge up the gap between agricultural potentials available and called for utilizing the help of the new team to gain sustainable employment.

Papum Pare- distributed

x-gratia  of Rs.56 Lakhs only @ Rs.4Lakhs from Govt of Arunachal Pradesh  to each victims in respect of  Laptap landslide incident that occurred on 11/7/2017 at Laptap village under Toru circle wherein 14 precious lives have been lost  have been distributed to the  Next of Kins (NoK) of victims at  Deputy Commissioner  office , Yupia , Papum Pare District today on 20/12/17.    Deputy Commissioner Shri Tai Kaye  handed over in person the cheques to NoKs Shri Tana Kakir, Shri Tana Topu, Shri Tana Maha, Shri Tana Nan, Shri Tana Raju and Shri Tana Takum.

Pasighat-  BBYK Condemned

The Bogong Banggo Yameng Kebang (BBYK) today condemned the threatening letter sent to WASE president Omen Ering and its GS Joya Tasung Moyong. The letter by post was sent to Ering’s husband, BBYK GS Manning Moyong said while expressing strong  resentment. He lamented that such kind of illegal action  stains image of the society and demoralizes NGO, like WASE which has been wholeheartedly working to eradicate social evils. WASE GS Moyong, however, conveyed her commitment that works for social cause will continue despite such  threats.

Hawai- Dr Chair Toured to Anjaw

A team of elected representatives and government officers headed by Art & Culture Minister, Dr Mohesh Chai conducted a two-day tour of interior circles of Anjaw district as part of the intensive Sankalp Se Siddhi Tak campaign. Addressing a public meeting at the Metengliang community hall Dr Chai urged the people to avail of the benefits of government schemes and work together for the development of the area.
