Daporijo- Nyokum Yullo Celebrated 

Arunachal- State News in Brief First ever Mega Nyokum Yullo was celebrated at Daporijo from 24th to 27th February 2017. Mama Natung, parliamentary secretary, RD & Panchayati Raj Govt. of Arunachal Pradesh and  Dikto Yekar Local MLA graced the occasion as the Chief Guest & Guest of Honour respectively. The galaxies of guest were Shri A.K Singh DC Daporijo, Shri Safar Pao, chairman EKSWCO, Seppa, Shri Niglar veo, Ex-President ANSU, Shri Hayeng Mangfi Ex-President ANSU, etc. participated in the Mega Nyokum Yullo celebration Daporijo.  Mama Natung, urged the people to preserve their rich indigenous culture and tradition & said that loss of culture is loss of identity.  Akkom Jumni Ligu, Secretary Nyokum Yullo Daporijo read out the mythology of Nyokum Yullo during the occasion. More than 25 Cultural troops participated in the Nyokum Yullo Daporijo.

Aalo- RSS protest

The RSS Unit of Aalo under the banner NAGARIK MANCH AALO has strongly protested against atrocities meted out against RSS and BJP workers in Kerela by adversaries organisations. The NAGARIK MANCH has expressed their solidarity with the family members who succumbed to such gruesome attacks recently and condemned such inhuman atrocities in strongest sense of the term.

Pasighat- L&O Reviewed 

East Siang Deputy Commissioner Tamiyo Tatak today convened a meeting with the admin officers to review law and order situation of Pasighat town in particular and East Siang district as a whole. He asked the officers to ensure healthy and safe environment to live in Pasighat stating that health and wellness are influenced by the places in which people live, learn and work. Pasighat being the oldest town of the state should set example in transforming the city into a cleanest and healthy place to live for all communities. Denizens of the centurion town should also take responsibilities to preserve the flora, fauna, and natural beauty of the centurion town, and to ensure public safety as a whole, opined Tatak.

Roing- BJP Protest 

Daporijo--Nyokum-Yullo-CeleLOWER DIBANG VALLEY BJP workers today submitted memorandum addressing to hon’ble President of India through the Deputy Commissioner Lower Dibang Valley  seeking justice, condemning & staging protest against the killing of many BJP party workers in Kerala allegedly by CPI-M cadres and accused it of unleashing a reign of terror over political opponents. The protest was led by Dature Miuli in-charge of state kisan morcha(VP). While addressing party workers Miuli expressed, it is sad that communists though irrelevant in politics have unleashed a reign of terror over political opponents in Kerala since few months ago. People of the country will not tolerate such atrocities anymore. BJP workers have been constantly at the receiving end of the political violence being orchestrated by CPM.

Pasighat- Training Programme for Gaon Buras 

Nari administration conducted one day Intensive Training-cum-meeting for Gaon Buras yesterday on Feb-28 last. All together seventy-one village authorities (GBs) from Nari, Koyu, New-Seren and Kora circle attended the training and all administrative officers of the subdivision were present on the occasion. In his inaugural message, ADC Nari Bani Lego highlighted the historical background of evolution of Gaon Bura system. He said our tradition accords highest respect to the Gaon Buras for their experience, maturity and wisdom. Administration seeks their service in village administration and therefore they should refrain from politics, communal and other unlawful activities deliver impartial justice to the people. COs Marngam Kakki (Kora) and Philips Tayeng (New-Seren) spoke on the occasion while CO Nari, Marpe Riba through power point presentation briefed on provisions of Assam Frontier (Administration of justice) Regulation, 1945 (Amendment), Act, 2005.
