Itanagar –   Capital DC office awarded

Capital Complex DC office in inking a record to implement e-office to go paperless was awarded gold medal as best district.  The award was presented during 21st national conference on e-Governance at Hyderabad International Convention Centre while DC Prince Dhawan, EAC Liken Koyu, DIO Tarni Kumar, NIC scientist-B Sanjiv Kumar Das, programmer Deepak Bhardwaj and UDC Rubu Rajen received the award.The E-office provides an effective mechanism to monitor on finger tips performance of individuals, pendency of files, clearance of files, files worked on, etc, not available earlier.

Namsai-  NITI Ayog Monitoring Namsai 

The NITI Aayog-appointed Prabharai Officer V K Dev, who is also additional Secretary cum DG of the Union Ministry of Skill Development, reviewed the progress of the ‘aspiration district’ Namsai in a meeting with all district heads and nodal officers at the DC’s conference hall here on Wednesday.
Namsai is among the 115 ‘Aspirational Districts’ of the country identified by the NITI Aayog for time bound transformation within 2022. Namsai was identified based on key performance indicators.

Bomdila- Pedung Archery Tournament ended

Nine day long Pedung Archery Tournament  organised on the auspicious occasion of losar festival   ended on Wednesday.  This tournament was first started in the year 2014,  sponsor by prem thilley s and supported by people of pedung.  This time, In this tournament about 7 male teams, 2 female teams   has participated.  Male category, Winner awarded with cash prize 50,000/- Rs and Runner up awarded with cash prize Rs 25000/- Rs and man of the tournament awarded with cash prize of Rs 5000/-. Female category, winner awarded with cash prize of Rs 20000/- Rs, runner up awarded with cash prize of  Rs 10000/- and women of the tournament awarded cash prize of Rs 2000/-.

Pasighat- IAF recruitment Rally

Indian Air Force will organise a recruitment rally for northeast youth at the Borjhar Airforce Station in Guwahati (Assam) on 17 March. Pasighat-  Cashier’s murder arrested

 The Pasighat  police have arrested three culprits allegedly involved in the murder case of Arunachal Pradesh Rural Bank cashier Bomge Nyori.  The police, picked up Subash Mandal alias Harindan Mandal (28) and Sukumar Mandal alias Kakhan Mandal (32) Cooch Bihar from West Bengal on 26 February. Following the duo’s statement, the police later arrested Ramesh Yadav (30) from Namsing (Mebo) village in East Siang district on the next day. The arrested persons are under police custody.

Itanagar- Taba Tania passes away

Arunachal Pradesh Football Referees Association (APFRA) led by its chairman Nada Apa deeply mourned the passing away of Taba Tania (Nakam), 1st class state football referee at a very young age. Terming the loss irreparable, the APFA conveyed deep sense of condolences to the bereaved family members and prayed for the departed soul to rest in eternal peace. Meanwhile, condolences poured in as his and sympathizers, friends, well-wishers and students joined the mourners.

Yupia -DLRAC Meeting 

 A District Level Review and Advisory Council (DLRAC) meeting of Arunachal Pradesh Rural Bank, Rural Self employment Training Institute (APRA-RSETI) was held under the chair of Papum Pare Deputy Commissioner cum Chairperson APRB-RSETI, DLRAC, here at the DC’s conference hall on Wednesday to review the performance and targets of APRB-RSETI. During the meeting, the DC stressed upon maintaining proper records and timely filing of detail reports of activities taken up by the APRB-RSETI in the district.

Itanagar- Mass Vaccination

 Animal husbandry & veterinary directorate has decided to conduct mass vaccination against face & mouth diseases, HQ, BQ and swine diseases at Itanagar Zoo state veterinary hospital during March 6 to 9 next. Cattle, mithuns, goats and pigs of Ganga village, Chimpu, Zoo, Bath and Mopin areas would be covered during 7 am to 1 pm, according to an official release.
