Changlang- RKMMS observed world AIDS Day 

Students of various schools running under R.K. Mossang Memorial Society took out a awareness rally in Jairampur on the occasion of  World AIDS Day 2017.  The rally was organised by Targeted Intervention Programme on FSWs of Changlang district & Targeted Intervention Programme on Migrant Population of Changlang district, being implemented by R.K. Mossang Memorial Society. The rally was started from head office RKMMS office to Assam Rifles check gate and back to RKMMS office . of participants viz. TI Project Staff, Teachers, Students and Head office Staff taken part in the rally.

Nyapin – Kurung Kumey District BJP Executive Body meeting 

Kurung Kumey District unit BJP Organised District Executive meeting cum-19th Nyapin Mandal executive meeting held at Nyapin on 30th November 2017. Advisor to Chief Minister and former State President BJP  Tai Tagak attended as resources person. Secretary (Org) ST Morcha Nabam Mavan and several morcha heads and other leaders of Kurung Kumey BJP unit attended the day long programme. Addressing the party leaders Tagak appeal the party leaders to dedicate their dedication and sincerity toward party activity and become a part of development of the district and state in general.

Yazali- Indigenous Faith Day celebrated 

Indigenous Faith Day was celebrated at Yazali today by hoisting the Indigenous Faith flag by Bengia Tolum, NES President cum Chairman Nyedar Namlo Yazali at Community Hall, Yazali. Speaking on the occasion, Tolum urged the gathering to preserve and protect the Identity of indigenous community. You may preserve your culture but you may lose your identity, he told. Wearing traditional attire, speaking your own dialect is preservation of Culture but to preserve your identity is to preserve your faith. To preserve your Identity you have to preserve your faith and belief, he said.

Itanagar- Art exhibition ‘Art Inside’ 

The Deputy Commissioner Itanagar Capital Complex  Prince Dhawan IAS today inaugurated the three days art exhibition ‘Art Inside’ at Hotel PYBSS Itanagar. lauding the effort of the organizers, the DC stressed that Arunachal has ample talent in every field and such programmes gives a platform to showcase such talents. He further stressed that the talent was visible in the vibrancy of work that could be seen in the paintings.

Tezu- Dr. Mohesh Chai attends Indigenous Faith Day

We should embrace modernity but we should not let it overshadow our identity, said Dr. Mohesh Chai , Minister AH&V, Research Art& Culture who attended the Indigenous Faith Day Celebration as Chief Guest at Amik Ringya Hall, here today.  Stating report of UNESCO on endangerment and disappearance of dialects in Arunachal Pradesh, he said that the report worries him to great extent. He called upon every Arunachalee to realise their responsibility and safeguard their linguistic diversity.

Aalo- observed Indigenous Faith cum Donyi Polo Day

Hundreds of people represented by Kargu Gamgis, representatives from various communities like Galo, Assamese, Adis and Tagin community thronged Aalo street to observe Indigenous Faith cum Donyi Polo Day with fanfare and gaiety at Gumin Kiin today. Chairing the daylong meeting, Moji Bagra said that our identities are established by the faith and culture we exhibit and it is important to preserve and promote our rich age old cultural values.

Tirap- Observed World AIDS Day

Therefore, Dept of health & Family welfare today observed the “World Aids Day” at General Hospital Khonsa & CRPF Camp Khonsa. DMO Dr. N. Lowang briefed about awareness and its prevention from HIV/AIDS among the CRPF Jawans regarding the four major routes of transmission of human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) infection in human body. At the end of the program DMO, Tirap suggest all the CRPF jawans to do test for HIV in general hospital Khonsa from time to time and also urged the youth of the Tirap district for HIV test in General Hospital Khonsa in free of cost.

Pasighat-  World AIDS day observed

 To fight against the deadly disease HIV/AIDS, the World Aids Day was observed at the Bakin Pertin General Hospital (BPGH), Pasighat today. To mark the event, staffs of AIDS department, health assistants, GNM and ANM trainees of the hospital took out a rally and moved around the township with slogans and banners ‘My Health My Right’ in the township. It was formally flagged-off by the BPGH Medical Superintendent Dr. YR Darang amid huge gathering inside the hospital campus.

Changlang- Street Solar Lights  inaugurated 

Parliamentary Secondary for Hydro-Power  Phosum Khimhun inaugurated Street Solar Lights installed in Bubang –I and Bubang-II village under Khimyang Circle, by 149 BN CRPF under Civic Action programme.  The parliamentary Secretary while appreciating the goodwill gesture of 149 battalion CRPF expressed his hope that such activities would definitely bring both the uniformed personnel and villagers closer. He urged them to continue the noble gesture in days to come.

Pangin- Silver Jubilee Year of Arunachal Vikas Parishad celebrated 

The Silver Jubilee Year of Arunachal Vikas Parishad was celebrated at Pangin from 27th to 29th Nov last. Gracing as Chief Guest and Guest of Honour,  Tamik Talom ADC and  Tanyang Tatak,DDSE exhorted the Karyakartas at different level to work in cohesion to promote our own faith and culture. The District President AVP Siang  Karmur Jerang highlighted various activities carried so far by the parishad. The State Organizing Secretary B.K. Dubey, General Secretary AVP Siang Tatok Panor also spoke on role and services of AVP. Competition on Folk lores and Ponung Ababang called Retlong was organised and kerang Ganggng was adjudged best with a cash prize of Rs. 10000.
