Roing- Golden Jubilee Central Reh Celebration

Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Minister Dr Mohesh Chai has urged the Mishmi community to encourage their children to learn and speak their mother tongue.  He said this at the inaugural function of the Golden Jubilee Central Reh Celebration (GJCRC) – 2018 Badminton Championship at the Ita Pulu indoor stadium here in Lower Dibang Valley district on Sunday. Dr Chai reminded the people that, according to a study, 23 languages of Arunachal Pradesh are enlisted as ‘critically endangered’ and are on the verge of extinction, and that the Idu-Mishmi and Miju-Mishmi languages are on that list.

Aalo-  National Lok Adalat solves 140 cases

The National Lok Adalat held under the supervision of CJM-cum-civil judge (senior division)-cum-District Legal Service Authority member-secretary Hirendra Kashyap, assisted by DLSA members, advocates Todak Ado and Gorik Kamduk, disposed off 140 money suits, compoundable criminal and litigation cases out of 360 worth  Rs. 49, 48,478 here on Saturday. The remaining cases could not be tried due to absence of victims, complainants, respondents and unwillingness of the party and referred to next Lok Adalat or regular court for necessary step.

Khonsa- AWWWS programme on legal rights

All Wancho Women Welfare Society (AWWWS) led by president Satyabati Wangcha and general secretary Atha Wangsa conducted a programme on legal rights of women to bring mass awareness among residents of Niasua village near here on Saturday. Though women play a vital role not only giving birth but also nurturing the future citizens but fall victims to atrocities many a times for none of their faults that had promoted to hold the programme to make the simpleton women of this remote area to know their rights and raise voices against any ill inhuman treatment, This was followed by a social service at Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya of the village by  AWWWS  members, she added.

Salari- Training on foods  processing

 A two-day training and demonstration programme on processing of locally available fruits and vegetables of Arunachal Pradesh was conducted at Defence Research Laboratory (DRL) detachment Salari, West Kameng district on Dec 9 and 10 by Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority (APEDA), Ministry of Commerce, Govt of India and scientists from Defence Food Research Laboratory, Mysore, DRDO, New Delhi, and DRL, Tezpur, Assam.  The training was attended by about 25 participants comprising of self-help groups and farmers from Salari & Nafra villages. Hurdle technology for pineapple, osmo dehydrated oranges, crystallized ginger candy, tomato products, etc were demonstrated during the training.

Mechuka- Football tournament

 A football tournament is being organized by the Students’ United Movement of All Arunachal (SUMAA) at Mechuka football ground from December 1 to 24 coinciding with the Armed Forces Flag Day & in the run up to Vijay Diwas to commemorate the supreme sacrifice made for the nation by Naik Tape Yajo, Kirti Chakra (posthumous) of West Siang district while combating terrorists in Jammu & Kashmir.  The Mechuka Garrison Commander inaugurated the event. An overwhelming attendance from entire Mechuka valley with amazing enthusiasm indicated the attraction towards the event. SUMAA has decided to conduct the football tournament every year to remember the supreme sacrifice made by ‘Amarveer’ Tape Yajo for the motherland and to motivate younger generation to draw inspiration from the ‘Hero of Siyom Valley’.

Tawang-  General Conference

Tawang Resident Society Bomdila has conducted 3rd General conference cum felicitation program under the chairmanship of Sonam Tsering President TRSB on 10th December 2017 at multi sports complex Bomdila. On this occasion felicitation to the 9 senior citizen above 60 years and to the cultural troup performed during Buddha Mahotsava 2017.

Kalaktang – BJP mandal meeting

 5th Kalaktang  ST Assembly constituency Mandal BJP has organized one day long meeting under the chairmanship of  Pema Rinchin President,  on 10th December 2017 at Kalaktang. ZPM Kalaktang Block  Tashi Norbu kharma on his address advice to the booth level committee and booth level agent to work dedicatedly to make our party strong.  Tsering Sonam Ex ZPM Kalaktang Block spoke on the topic of political development of Arunachal Pradesh.  Wangdi Khrimey, District vice president west kameng District advice to the gathering to work for the party there is no asli no nakli in the party.

Bomdila-  Education on Tourism

A team of Department of Tourism Govt of India Ashma Mehrotra Director, Anil oraw Deputy Director General Ministry of Tourism Govt of India has educate how to promote heritage site,  monuments and how to behave with tourist to the stakeholder, tour operator and hotel owner. Bopai puroik ADC,  west kameng District,  KN Damo Deputy Director DRDA, TW Thongdok, DTO Bomdila and Eileen Lowangcha TIO also spoke on the occasion.
