AALO- Sabka Saath Sabka Vikaas Sammelan

The Sabka Saath Sabka Vikaas Sammelan held today at General ground Aalo highlighted the dawn of new developments, bold initiatives and exemplary governance by Narendra Modi led govt in the centre. Gracing the occasion as the Chief Guest, the Minister of State for Home Kiren Rijiju disclosed that govt has taken bold and decisive initiatives to usher in a new era of development to bring India at par with the developed countries of the world. He expressed his dismay over execution of PMGSY schemes for he could garner whooping 195 crores from the centre government for roads and bridges for Arunachal Pradesh adding that fighting for basic amenities is a sad thing when people have gone to moon in this age of technology. He further disclosed that under CSR schemes many latest types of equipment have been made available to the General Hospital Aalo and asked the Medical fraternity to make best use and assured to construct Nursing Hotel through IOC and appealed coordination at all level to implement the developmental schemes. Government is bringing out series of Aadhar Card link regulatory measures for the welfare of the people of India through digital India and Ujala Yojna will be soon launched at Itanagar to benefit the BPL people. He also assured to take up Nigmoi Aalo Road through NLRCP at an estimated amount of Rs.19 crores. The MLA Aalo East Jarkar Gamlin pointed out burning issues like water scarcity at Aalo township for which comprehensive proposal to the tune of rupees 155 crores is still lying pending and look into 30 crores PWD proposals for under taking 12.75 km CC Road Pavement within Aalo township.

ZIRO- Bike lifters gang busted 

In a major break through APP, Lower Subansiri district police team led by SI A.N Singh,OC PS Yazali and ASI Licha Taj and their team under close supervision of Mihin Gambo,SP, Ziro busted a gang of notorious bike lifters that was operating in Lower Subansiri and adjoining districts. During the course of special operation the police have arrested 5 (five) accussed and one juvenile apprehended. 4 ( Four ) stolen motor cycles have been recovered from their possession. Accordingly ,a case has been registered at Yazali PS U/S 379/34 IPC.

SEPPA- Eviction Drive 

East Kameng District Administration with the help of police personnel, EKSWCO and AEKDSU on Tuesday last carried out an eviction drive here at Seppa. During the drive, one structure was demolished near Bebo Colony, Seppa and several other places across the township were visited and assessed for the magnitude of illegal encroachments. It is also reported that similar kind of eviction-cum-demolition drives would be conducted in all the colonies and settlements of Seppa in phase manner to do away with the illegal encroachments.

TAWANG- DCC  & DLRC Meeting 

During the District Consultative Committee and District Level Review Committee meeting held today at DCs Conference Hall,  Sang Phuntsok,  Deputy Commissioner, Tawang exhorted all the line departments and banks to work in close coordination for obtaining tangible results with respect to the implementation of  various Government flagship schemes and assured of full cooperation from District Administration. While laying special emphasis on various Social Security schemes viz. PM Jan Dhan Yojana, PM Suraksha Beema Yojana, PM Jeevan Jyoti Yojana , Mudra Yojana , Stand Up India Programme etc, he said that the implementation of these schemes which are mainly aimed at addressing livelihood issues would be monitored very closely. Further, advocating for conduct of Financial Literacy Campaigns from time to time, he said that it is important that the awareness of the schemes reaches everyone. MK Meena, SP Tawang, while taking note  of the cases of fraud with regard to online banking,  opined that measures to stay protected from the same be included during the Financial literacy Campaigns. Further, he requested that  cases  of internet fraud if any be reported to the police.

ZIRO- Career Counselling session

Saint Claret College hosted a Career Counselling session for aspirants of UPSC, APCS and other competitive exams today. The session was organized by Apatani Youth Association (AYA) in collaboration with a NGO, Helping Hands and People Education and Social Empowerment Centre (PESEC) of SCCZ. The resource persons were  Robin Hibu, IPS, IGP Delhi Police and Dani Salu, IDAS, Secretary GoAP. The Counseling session was attended by about 200 aspirants from Ziro and other places. Both the resource persons animated the gathering and motivated the aspirants to bring out the best in them. Through their charismatic interaction, the resource persons reiterated that there is no easy formula for success and that, personal struggle, hard-work and dedication can lead one to success in civil services. Using anecdotes from their personal lives, the resource persons kept the audience spell bound throughout the session. The aspirants got an opportunity to interact with the resource persons and clarify their doubts.

AALO- World Environment Day

The Aalo Forest Division organized World Environment Day with theme connecting people with nature to exhort common people as well as government officials to take positive environmental action to protect nature and the planet earth in different places of the district collaboration with army, Police and district administration on 5th and 6th June last. The events were spread over a period of two days with massive plantation drive at the Army headquarters, APBN, ADC office complex at Kamba. Awareness programme and plantation drive was also conducted at Pakam I & II village where a total of  700 seedlings were planted by the local villagers. Gamli Padu Deputy Commissioner West Siang highlighted on the Forest degradation trend in West Siang district, Importance of a cleaner environment and also mentioned that  District administration is always ready to cooperate with the Forest Department in every aspect.  Abhinav kumar, DFO briefed on the importance of observing the World  Environment Day appealed people not to look at the forest only from economic value but to think beyond it.

AALO- District Level Badminton Tournament

The District Badminton Association West Siang District affiliated to Arunachal State Badminton Association has decided to conduct its 2nd District Level Badminton Tournament at Mechuka for Boys Junior Singles Under 15 years, Boys Junior Doubles Under 15 years, Girls Junior Singles Under 15 years, Girls Junior Doubles Under 15 years, Man Senior Singles 16 years to 30 Years, Men Senior Doubles16 years to 30 Years, Woman Senior Singles 16 years to 30 Years, Women Senior Doubles16 years to 30 Years, Man Veteran Singles Above 30 Years, Men Veteran Doubles Above 30 Years, Woman Veteran Singles Above 30 Years and Women Veteran Doubles Above 30 Years from 16th to 18th June. The Tournament is being sponsored by Jomde Kena Minister Health & Family Welfare and Co-Sponsored by P.D. Sona Parliamentary Secretary Tourism &  Nyamar Karabak Parliamentary Secretary Sports & Youth Affairs. Registration Form forms for interested participants are made available for collection at concerned local Badminton Club and date of Registration cum Lottery has been fixed on 16th June.

YINKIONG- Tuting-Migging  road commence

The much needed facelift of road Tuting-Migging will now commence, this is informed  by SK Pradhan, Commander 761 BRTF. While addressing officers of 105 RCC at Yingkiong on 6th June last. He exhorted all ground staff to put in their best efforts to expeditiously achieve the developmental targets assigned for the year 2017-18.  He further confirmed that Govt. has sanctioned the DPR for double laning of 15 KM stretch from Tuting at a cost of Rs.108 Cr and work is soon going to commence with departmental execution.  He further sought help from district administration to complete the land acquisition process for which Rs.458 lacs, as previously assessed, has already been deposited with DC, Yingkiong last week. Migging-Tuting is a 50 KM long single lane road connecting Tuting sub-division to Migging and further to Ditte Dime, Boleng, Pangin & Pasighat. Being a high priority strategic road, Govt. has in principle approved double laning of the entire road from Pangin to Tuting to be completed by 2022.  Works on double laning from Pangin end has already commenced and preparation of DPR for remaining length is in progress. The District Development Co-ordination & Monitoring Committee (DDCMC) Meeting under the Chairmanship of  Ninong Ering, MP held today in DC’s conference Hall, Yingkiong. The Minister, RD & PR Govt. of Arunachal Pradesh Alo Libang, District Head of Officers & PRI members attended the meeting. Ninong Ering, MP Cum Chairman of the DDCMC stressed on the need for timely submission of reports & returns for flow of fund with mandatory quarterly meeting. He called on the District Head of offices & all stakeholders to ensure that they attend such important meeting. He asked the officers to through the guidelines of the new schemes and makes the people understand about it to take the benefits by conducting awareness programmes, meetings & training. He appealed all the stakeholders to put up an integrated & Combine efforts with a mission to do something for the people of this remotest upper siang district. Minister RD & PR Alo Libang directed the executing agency of various state & central flagship programme to prepare hard & soft copy on progress & make circulation on advance to all the stakeholders for cross-checking, Observations and easy understanding of all the members. He asked the PRI members monitor the schemes in their respective village and also the HODs to aware the PRI members about the schemes.

YINGKIONG-  Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas Sammelan

Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas Sammelan highlighting the plan and policies & achievement of central Govt. under the Prime Minister ship of Narendra Modi on successful completion of 3 years held at community Hall, Yingkiong on Tuesday.  Tamiyo Taga, Minister Power (Elect), Industries etc,  Alo Libang, Minister RD & PR,  Olom Panggeng, MLA, Ojing Tasing, State Secretary BJP among others attended the program. Minister Power (Elect), Textiles etc. Tamiyo Taga as a Chief Guest said that it aimed at making the people aware about the planning Policies & achievements of central Govt. within 3 years under the visionary Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He informed that 93 schemes have been launched by the central Govt. which is people oriented schemes. Minister RD & PR Alo Libang stressed on the need for harnessing Yuva Shakti – Youth Potential in constructive activities for the progress and prosperity of the nation. MLA Olom Panyang urged the people to have Aadhar Card for direct benefit transfer of the schemes.

ZIRO- Coordination meeting

A coordination meeting was held in the DC Conference Hall, Hapoli to assess the progress of new flagship programs rolled out by the Government of India today. Chairing the meeting Deputy Commissioner Kemo Lollen emphasized on the need to adhere to the guidelines issued by the central government while implementing any flagship programs. The financial institutions should collaborate with the district administration for smooth implementation of these programs. The guidelines for every scheme should be circulated to the nodal departments timely for effective dissemination of information to the beneficiaries; he added and directed the Lead manager, SBI to conduct a meeting of all the nodal departments, financial institutions and the PRI members. Reiterating the need to improve the sanitation and cleanliness of the valley he said”, The Swaach Bharat Abhiyaan should be seriously viewed and implemented by the UD and PHED departments in true spirit. It is sad that garbage have been found dumped at vital locations in the town although the UD trucks have been regular in cleaning up the garbage. Henceforth people dumping garbage randomly at places without dustbins will be booked and punished under suitable sections,” he further warned.
