Itanagar- Prince Dhawan IAS took charge 

Prince Dhawan, IAS , AGMUT 2012 took over  the charge of  Deputy Commissioner Itanagar Capital district on 01/03/2017. Today he called a meeting of all the admin officers and had one to one interaction with them. He asked the officers to maintain strict discipline and work culture in office. He further asked them to share the information and issues which needs urgent attention and to work in close co-operation with each other. All officers have been directed to identify five top priority milestone & work towards achieving them.

Yupia- Mission Indradhanush 

The District Health Society has conducted Review meeting of District Task Force Immunization on Mission Indradhanush phase-4 (MI-4) & 1st round IPPI on Thursday ZPC Conference Hall Yupia.  Presiding over the meeting Tai Kaye, DC Papum Pare  stressed that all MO I/Cs, Health Assistant, Nurse & Cold Chain Handler must know their roles & responsibilities and must deliver their services very sincerely to the public of Papum Pare and state as a whole and during any National Health programmes all the stake holder must take actively take part and those absentees will be viewed seriously. He also stressed that all health workers must have clear concepts of vaccination during IPPI & MI should put innovative ideas in their concern components. DC also urged DDSE,ICDS and other line department of the district to work in tandem with Health department for effective implementation of the all health programmes.Despite of having enough human resources and available communication & transportation in the district, exception of few blocks, we couldn’t achieve hundred percent. So he urges all health workers of district to pull up their shocks and deliver their hundreds percent and show an exemplary district in the state.

Pasighat- Smart City Survey Completed

Pasighat  Smart City Office  completed “Area Based Development Site Surveys.” According to official source, Pasighat is determined to get the smart city project by focusing on retrofit and redevelopment of the existing city by addressing urban mobility, tourism, heritage, economy, environment and smart applications etc. Notably various activities were carried out by the office to assess the needs and aspirations of the citizens. Know a team of officials from various field completed the survey in retrofitting area and submitted reports to SCO. This is one of the components, will be evolved and compiled into a revised comprehensive proposal to be forwarded by the SCO to the government for further submission to the Union Ministry of Urban Development shortly.

With the help of the dedicated services of its staff, members and volunteers, now it has 146 regular staff working in different sectors in the disturbed districts like Changlang, Tirap and Longding in particular and all over NE India in general..
