Sagalee- Make Sagalee clean and green
A team of Clean and Green Sagalee visited to Goya village, to spread the awareness among the villagers not to Damage Natural Resources. This one Day awareness was attained by the Well wisher, Elders, Youths and Publics of Goya village at the resident of local GB, Nangbia Tara. The main purpose of this awareness camp to Goya village, because of here the villagers are destroying the natural resources by Cutting of trees with the help of Machines in a large scale. The clean and Green sagalee team ask the villagers to stop such illegal damaging of Natural resources.
Itanagar- car falls into gorge, 1 dies, 4 injured
Gram panchayat chairperson Gyamar Kari’s wife died on the sport and four others sustained grievous injuries when the Alto carrying them skidded off the road and fell into 200-feet gorge near Hiya village under Nyapin circle of Kurung Kumey district during mid-day on Wednesday. Four injured included two females and a Cl-VI student of Navodaya Vidyalaya, son of Nachung’s elder brother, who had sustained serious fractures on leg and backbone.
Kimin- Bello-Lora, Buka Football Tournament
10 day 1st Ever Bello-Lora, Buka Football Tournament 2018 trophy was lifted by Young star football club of Nakari, North Lakhimpur (Assam) and Gorkha Boys Football Club, Budh Bazaar Kimin were adjudged as runner up trophy. Addressing the closing ceremony of the football Tournament as chief guest Bamang Mangha, Chairman, Science and Technology Govt. of Arunachal Pradesh, here today at Lora football ground advised the youths of the State to take more participate and focus on sports along with their education he said that Now a days, the sports is a better choice for successful career, as there are many living examples such as Sachin, Dhoni etc.
Palin- 2 houses gutted in Fire
Two houses were devastated in a fire incident near Revival church, New Palin in the wee hours of 4 April. The cause of the fire not known. The All Palin Chambang Yangte Gangte and Lengdi Tarak Students’ Union appealed to the Kra Daadi Deputy Commissioner to provide immediate relief to the victims. It also urged the local MLA to extend necessary help to the affected families and the government to sanction immediate relief fund for their quick rehabilitation.
Wakro- Citizen felicitates Lohit police team
A Lohit police team which had traced the four missing girls from Lohit district in South India was jointly felicitated by the Wakro Women’s Welfare Association, Wakro block unit of CALSOM, GBs, PRI members and Wakro based NGOs in Apurba Diwas celebration here on Wednesday. The members lauded the coordinated efforts and prompt action of the Lohit SP Kirli Padu for ensuring safety of the missing girls and for their quick return. They also lauded the dedicated service of Inspector Thomas Pertin and others in rescuing the missing girls.
Bomdila- BRO asked to expedite BCT, OKSRT roads construction works
The Border Roads Organization (BRO) has been asked to expedite the ongoing road construction works on Balipara-Charduar-Tawang (BCT) and Orang-Kalaktang-Shergaon-Rupa-Tenga (OKSRT) roads. West Kameng Deputy Commissioner Dr Sonal Swaroop, who had a meeting with the CO, 14 BRTF here today, expressed her dismay over the pace of works while pointing that only six machines have been deployed and few teams on road. She sought the progress of works.
Tawang – SEC meet on local body elections
A one day North East Regional Meet of State Election Commissioners was held here on Wednesday with R Parasuram, SEC, Madhya Pradesh, who is also the chairman of Standing Committee chairing the meeting. It was attended by State Election Commissioners from Delhi/Chandigarh, Assam and Arunachal Pradesh. The programme was jointly hosted by State Election Commission of AP and district administration. The meeting deliberated upon local body elections and ways of improving the same. A comparative study on the practice among states was also done. DC Tawang and Secretary SEC took part in the proceedings among others.
