Arunachal: State development will speed up with double engine govt – Chowna Mein

Praising PM Modi and CM Pema Khandu’s initiatives on development, Chowna Mein said that the top-most priority of the double engine government will be to speed up all round development process.

In the first visit to his district after taking charge as Arunachal Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister and Minister for Finance & Investment, Power and Non Renewable Energy Resources, Chowna Mein who was accompanied by MLA Namsai, Chau Zingnu Namchoom and MLA Lekang, Jummum Ete Deori was accorded a grand welcome at Namsai by the district administration, party karyakartas and denizens of Namsai district here today.

At the public meeting held at Mahadevpur and Namsai, Mein said the efforts of BJP leaders and workers have resulted in a massive win margin for the BJP candidates from Namsai district in the recently concluded assembly elections and the highest average of margin has been recorded from Namsai district.

He thanked the people of Namsai district for reposing their faith in them and making them win with a massive margin. He also thanked the people of the district for electing BJP MP with a massive win margin to strengthen the hands of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Mein assured that alongwith the two MLAs of Namsai and Lekang, their concerted efforts will be to bring in more reforms, work untiringly for the development of the district to take it to newer heights and make it a model district.

Praising Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s and Chief Minister Pema Khandu’s initiatives on development, Mein said that the top-most priority of the double engine government will be to speed up all round development process and vowed to continue working for the state with more vigour and dedication.

“The focus is to ensure all round development and work as one by ensuring seamless integration,” said Mein.

Highlighting the various efforts of the State government, he said that one of the efforts of the government was to ensure transparency and for this the integrated Chief Minister Dashboard was set up where all the development works were closely monitored by chief minister office.

Referring to skill upgradation and education as a priority area, Mein said that government will focus more attention for the development of these two areas.

MLA Namsai, Namchoom and MLA Lekang, Deori also spoke on the occasion.

The Deputy Chief Minister has convened a meeting tomorrow (Friday) with the HODs of Namsai district to know the status and discuss on aspirational district under ‘Transformation of Aspirational Districts’ Programme.
