Arunachal: Seminar on sports development and activities begins

Two day seminar on sports development and its activities began here at golden jubilee state banquet hall  attuned by several national and international celebrities among officials of Sports and Youth Affairs department, youth and students were present on the occasion.

Addressing the function as chief guest Parliamentary Secretary Sports & Youths Affairs Nyamar Karbak lauded the role of the officials of the department of Sports and Youths Affairs for encouragement sports in state.

He said that a new beginning is seen in the field of games and sports. The state government under Pema Khandu is preparing to provide sufficient fund and new imitative in construction of infrastructure for promotion of games and sports and and its activities including supporting the players as well.

The sports complex at Yupia is nearing completion, several other play ground and indoor as well as outdoor stadium is being created or renovated, incentive for the medal winners at national and international level as ell Olympian will be given a highest reward of Three crore from he state government, he added.

The sports policy of giving employment opportunity to the meritorious sports person 5 % in all government department and 10 % in Police is appreciated by all and still there are lots of post lying vacant. He appeal all to maintain team spirit and communal harmony and brotherhood while playing any games anywhere and bring laurel for state and country and then grave the opportunity kept.

A sports academy like SLSA would be established in Longding district of state so that the rush in SLSA in capital is reduced, introduction of Late Hangpan Dada tournament for football and volleyball is very much encouraging of which the players from block label are be to participate. The BAI state ranking tournament is one of the best in the country while assured to take up the case of Paralympics games in big way in compare to previous years.

Sports Authority of Arunachal Chairman Bamang Tago in his address said that deduction, commitment and practice will make a success in any discipline if is maintained during the mounding period of age. young age being the golden period should be utilise for a better cause and one if determine to take part in games and sorts should concentrate in a discipline and government will naturally support and promote those deserving person.

He appeal the parents to change their attitude and send their ward to play games an sports in a particular discipline and the government is promoting and supporting the registered  sports organisation of sports for its promotion.

Two time Paralympics gold medallist, Devendra Jhajaria  motivated the youths and students in his address to encourage the sportsmanship spirit among the youths of Arunachal who have lots of potential but need exposure with determination and support and encouragement and training. He lauded the state government of giving opportunity to meritorious sportsperson to 5 and 10 % respectively in government job.

Arjuna Awardees (Wushu) M Biswajit Singh also narrated his experience and appeal the youths to maintain tempo in sports and games for physical fitness and nation building.

Everester, Ansu Jamsenpa in her motivational and inspiring speech the youths continue to hear her determination and har  labour in conquering the everest and said that life is a challenge but one have to overcome if there is a determination and sincerity with devotion and dedication and appeal the youths and students to abide by guidelines and learn the rule with coach so that problems at any stage is overcome and determine to do something for the nation.

Nottingham University (UK) Sports medicine specialist Dr. Rjat Chauhan while addressing as guest speaker delivered on need of medicine, medical aid, medical support and medical practitioner, nurse, physiotherapy and psychology and daily practice and exercise in life which make man fit and fine as well as healthy with a sound mind so that a sportsperson can play well without any stress and tension and pain.

He advise the players not to involve in any political activities and drug so that health is maintained.

Several eminent personalities and sports lovers among students an youths from various schools and college and RGU as well present on the occasion.
