Yachuli MLA Likha Saaya on Saturday visited remote Tom Village under his constituency and announced various developmental packages and on the spot cleared various pending projects.
While chairing a massive developmental meeting with PRIs, GBs, and public at Yachuli on Saturday Saaya stressed on the need to “rise above politics”, and come together to find a solution to the problems hindering in the overall development of his constituency.
Stating that he does not play political games as he believes that straight forwardness pays ultimately in the end, Saaya said he always encouraged “ Human-oriented politics” and his political ambition focuses on good governance with the common progress of all rather than individual development.
Saaya underscored that the situation demands “positive politics” and called for changing political mindset to rewrite a new progressing chapter of his area under the ambit of ruling BJP government while reoffered the development carried out in his tenure under the BJP government of Pema Khandu.
He also asked the people of his area not to succumb to gossip or leverage misinformation spread by his political rivals who are hell-bent to weaken his long relationship with the people for their own personal agendas.
Responding to few demands placed through a memorandum by villagers such construction and renovation of various link roads connecting the five gram panchayat segments etc , Saaya announced that their demands have been approved and asked the accompanying officials to execute it immediately.
ADC, Yachuli, J.T Toko in his address, called upon the youth to stay away from drugs which may affect their health and exhorted them to exploit every opportunity which draws them more closer towards their desired ambition.
He also asked the people to report teacher absenteeism to him and avail all benefits from schemes being provided by center and state through various governmental department.,
Former ZPM Joram Nyanya, Taba Techi, BJP Yachuli unit Incharge Vishal P Nabam among other also address the gathering.
Several BJP party leaders of the area, senior citizen, GBs and youth of the area were present on the occasion.
